That was one of the best musical performances ive ever seen.
This level of felling is unbeatable. Great song and recording. So much quality in one video.
JT is using a metal snare rather than the wood I've seen most often. Both snares sound superb. He achieves the ideal sound for my ears. Outstanding.
The drummer has an impressive dynamic range control!!! Cymbals maintaining their coloration and voicing their beautiful sound at any range level it's outstanding.

More like a very high level professional musician that serves the music with his every touch. I can't get over how much JT adds to every song I hear him play on.
I literally just blew out the right front speaker in my car jamming to this. I don’t even care. Such an amazingly beautiful piece of music. The low end is so heavy.
Sheesh! one of my favorite songs by mark. Jason sounds great!
Wow. I don’t know anything about cymbals, but that is an amazing band.

They rock. This isn't even a very interesting performance of theirs. Much better stuff out there. The funk especially. Also check out Snarky Puppy.

The over all sound is great also , all the instruments have a great tone / sound . Love the intervals of the toms
Dude is good. Good pocket. Good off timing. Good dynamic. And interesting patterns and stickings. Also that yammy kit sounds freaking great. Great performance overall. Refreshing

What is this unusual track, and what is this highly advanced engineering?
Kevanzingo!!!
I love the push and pull, I swear they slow down a little and feel it more around 5:50 No backing tracks or clicks - right?
I really got george benson vibes with the guitar

🤔🤣 1st off, it's a simple lick followed by a break on 1. We're on the grid, no one is "off". Off beat lick yes, but the pause I did on beat one was very intentional. It's a musical thing, a vibe thing, musical intent thing. We do it all the time. The "nothings happened" was exactly just that, "a musical pause". Mature your ears to what happens in an improvisational moment between musicians that trust and listen to each other. At times I have pushed the rhythmic envelope in the moment, but this wasn't one of them. Sorry. Nice try though😁

A new comment brought me back here. I always wonder what happens to the “keyboard killers” when they say dumb stuff, get corrected, and then disappear. Where ya at Joe Cool🤷🏽♂️
I hate baseball caps.
