Henrik Linder said that this is one of the most challenging things he has ever done in music. His “weak point” is the rhythm!!! Absolute monster And BRO WTF IS GOING ON WITH ELDAR, he gone crazyyyy, he left me speechless.
Jesus Christ I knew Henrik was amazing, but didn't know he could play this kind of stuff too, and never expected to see Eldar and Matt play together either. Amazing stuff.

Exactly. First time hearing Henrik Linder playing odd time signatures and a lot of complex chord changes. So unexpecting!! He's such a beast!!!

I remember listening to Eldar "the child prodigy" on my local smooth jazz station over 20 years ago..

This is one of my favorite songs in the history of music and I really mean that. I listen over and over. Jeezum Crow it is wonderful.
Make no mistake - Eldar is one of the greatest artists of our time and any time for that matter...the rest of this trio is simply lights out....unbelievable!

I think I know the recipe for this one: 1/5 Dream Theater, 2/5 Tigran Hamasyan, 2/5 Animals as Leaders, plus a dash of T.R.A.M and sprinkle of Trioscapes with a side of Mats/Morgan Band. That's gotta be close to it, right?
wow. this is not a combination of musicians i’d ever thought of together, much less would happen. they’re all really talented though, and the end result is nicely intense. props
at least release this and the other 2 tracks as a sinlge, please, we need that so bad!

I thought fusion was "fusing" existing genres together into jazz, progressive I took as trying something new and exploring undiscovered territory. That was just my interpretation.
@synthrev848

Yup, thats quite the deal with the term fusion, fusing two or more genres with jazz, using all the theory and technic of both amm worlds haha my point is in this case instead of being progresive (like the examples of rock and metal) its more accurate see this proyect as fusion project bevause of the harmony and composition structure (theme, solos etc) ((:

I can't stop listening to this! Incredible!
This is uber-human….Henrik confessed to having had nightmares before this, -and what happens here is frickin awesome! Whoa! 🔥🔥🔥
This trio is just mind blowing. I’m at a loss for words.
Awesome! So excited for the world to see this project!
You guys are out of this world! infinite vibes..
I don’t want the song to end! Great musicians. Blown away!
This is just fantastic! So locked in and tight, awesome performance!
This is perfection. Ive been looking for a serious progressive piano focused act for a while!
Fusion often sounds like an angry computer...this sounds angry and human. Totally refreshing.
Breath-taking performance! Nice to see Eldar finally met with Hendrik and the incredible Matt on drum.
How can anyone not like the virtuosity and beautiful emotional colors on display in this incredible piece. ;0)
The piano dude just stole the show the entire time! Damn
Hands down one of the very best drummers this world has ever seen!
YES!!!! Was in need of some great new jazz fusion. Incredible musicianship all around. Amazing to see how far Eldar and Tony Royster have come (remember they were both featured on the Grammy’s when they were kids).
The next return to forever!!
OK im done my favorite pianist and drummer collab..... GooOoOOosh
Excellent!!! Very high level!!!
this is where you listen 3 different masterpieces at the same time in harmony.
Brilliant. EL&P feel.
This was the most bad ass piano playing I’ve ever seen. When a pianist is upstaging Gartska and that German bassist dude, you know shit got real. 10/10. I don’t know much about piano, but I know that that independence required to play the rhythm/lead around 3:40 is masterful. Not to mention that wild shit he does after that at around 3:55. Now that I think of it, this whole thing was insane.

Progressive metal fan here..let me tell you.. This is beyond gold, how awesome is that!!...
According to what is said in the Meinl interview just published (August 2018), a GEM album was recorded last year (2017). It'll be released "soon". Also, there are three more complete performances from this very session in Nashville. Let's hope Meinl releases those ASAP.

Yes!!! Three different worlds collide here!!
So complex but it ACTUALLY works...the intensity is jarring but also soothing AF. Literally my song of the month, and as I saw in the comments who hurt you Henrik, its illegal to be THAT good.

Those Tama star bubinga drums sound so damn good with these meinl cymbals. Love garstkas cymbal setup and his fat stack is my favorite cymbal of all time hands down, also have his equilibrium China which is the perfect blend between a 20 inch traditional China and a 20 inch extra dry China. Got the cut and brashness and loudness of the traditional with the dark dry qualities of the extra dry mixed into one perfect China cymbal. Not too cutting and loud when practicing by yourself but when playing in a live setting and you need it to cut through, it easily does the job. Just such a versatile dynamic China cause most chinas either have one of those qualities but not both like this China. Same qualities for the fat stack, not abrasive and too loud but just perfect but still cuts through any loud music depending on the tension you have the cymbal nut. And that pure ride sounds phenomenal as well. Def wanna get one of those.
