Hello! So yes it will work on R Series cameras ive used it on an r, rp, and r5 without and issue and yes eye af works using this lens

yes however with the crop it will change the 85mm to somewhere around 136mm due to its 1.6 crop depending on which camera you are using

Hey unfortunately no you will need an adapter due to your cameras mounting brackets is a M bracket. you can grab an adapter from amazon fairly cheap so that you can use any of the ef ( white square) or efs lens (red dot) like this one

here is an third party adapter by viltron ($34) amzn.to/3o4yy4F and here is the canon version ($189) amzn.to/2Q2d3VE both work the same I have a viltrox adapter for my canon Eos r and it hasn't let me down.

yes it is! its compatible with all of the ef mounts with the red dot and can be adapted to the rf mount with the proper adapter if you chose to upgrade cameras

How can we update its firmware

Currently in the inner states there is no way to update I’m not sure about owe countries however. There seems to be an update over seas in Japan but we do. No have access to it yet

@@tehMaloWalo hey so I was unable to recreate the sound (after blowing the dust off (since I haven’t used it for 7 months or so )of it and attaching it to my canon t5i and shooting it’s no longer making the sound) mind you the auto focus is broken so that could have something to do with the sound itself. I’m sorry I was unable to help!
