Come, be a part of #makeheritagefun, a global initiative, aimed at celebrating local culture, simultaneously on 25th June, across the world.
Through this illustrious historic trail in Mehrauli, we will seep in the heritage of the centuries that Delhi has witnessed. We will be talking about tales of love, war, belonging and longing spanning over centuries. Some facts, some stories, some relatable, some too magical to seem true, some that pierce through your heart, some that would melt you and yet others that will leave you astounded.
Celebrate the last Sunday of this month with these heritage tales with the backdrop of quintessential Delhi landscapes.
The heritage trail will pass through:-
- Balban's Tomb
- Jamali Kamali Masjid
- Rajaon ki Baoli
- Boat House
- Dil Kusha
The walk will be culminating at the Metcalfe Guest House where we will witness the glorious sunset and you will also get a chance to pour your heart out through your art - to portray the sunset hues with a variety of heritage monuments to choose from.
Presentation will be in Hindostaani (Hindi/Urdu)

@Adnan Tausif Awan - Mehrauli Dilli mein hee hai. Infact, puraane time mein Mehrauli sheher ka hee naam Dilli tha aur aaj wahi sheher badaa hokar Delhi kehlata hai. Aaj Mehrauli mein tourism ke andaaz se kaafi saari places hain - Qutub Minar Complex, Mehrauli Archaeological Park, Mehrauli Village, Qila Lal Kot (Sanjay Van) ...aur bhi bahut si places hain. humaare channe par aapko in sable baare mein detailed videos mil jaenge. @@jashnhaizindagi but i suggest if want a walk be with delhi karwan, other wise mehrauli me Sare jagah cover nahi kar payenge, becoz i faced the problem, mahrauli bolne par mahrauli basti auto wala le gaya, fir wapas laal qila aaye, fir khojte hue archeological park gaye wanha bhi kabristaan ni gaye to khusbu wali kabra reh gai, governor house kaunsi hai bhul gaye, na hi hijdo ka khan kaha ya jahaz mahal mila, bt ashif sir ke team me hote to sirf walk ka maza lete itni pareshani bhi nahi hoti

Such an informative video. Mai bachpan se idhar reh ra hu and mujhe pata hi nahi hai. Waise to yaha ke logo ne naas maar rakha hai mehrauli ka but it is a very beautiful place to live in - from forests to good weather all year long. I think government should focus on developing it properly as it can become one of the most renowned heritage sites of India. Yaha ke log bhot hi ghatiya hai bas ye negative point lagta hai merko.

Ayush Juneja - there are several walk groups which conduct such tours like Delhi Karavan, Delhi Heritage Walks, INTACH etc. You cam follow their facebook pages to get updates about new events 😊 also, you can explore several similar films on our channel which features a lot of these walk groups 👍 best wishes

Mr Aditya Pathak Very nice and informative and quite detailed video and Asif Saheb your voice is very calm and soothing and to ears and keep the viewers connected to video , my parents were born and raised in Mehrauli before migrating to Pakistan ,I used to hear all these places name from family elders , do you have any information about Qazi family lives in Mehrauli near by Dargah Hazrat Qutub -Uddin RH , although most of our family migrated to Pakistan but there are still few families were stayed behind, as some of them have visited Pakistan (as I remember some my childhood memories) but we could not continued the family connections , if it is possible please make a video about streets of Mehrauli around Dargah please , actually I want to show it to my mother ( she is around 85 years of age and always just asked us to lets go to Mehrauli ) as some time she thinks that she is in Mehrauli.

There are loads of videos from Mehrauli on our channel..am sure you will find some interesting stuff to show to your elders 😊 we have the covered the Mehrauli village, several monuments including Zafar Mahal, Shamsi Taalab etc and also the Qutub Complex and Mehrauli Archaeological Park. Hello 🌼 Yes, with proper permit you can do that. Please look at ASI's website (Archaeological Survey of India) website for the rules, fee and a list of monuments where you can film your video. @@jashnhaizindagi the site says 50000rs while filling the form . Is there a simple method . We are filming a movie just a 5mins Ghazal video .

@@kavitabhanwala - am not sure of other ways. Pre covid they used to allow shooting with handheld cameras (Handycam, digicam or phone) but now the guards there ask for the official permission. You can try shooting with phone at other unguarded monuments ...or check out Sunder Nursery in case they give out cheaper permits. You can check out Jaipur monuments as well .there are private spaces like 'Sisodiya Rani ka Bagh' which might provide cheaper permits. Another option is to shoot at any open lawn and later add monument footage in the edit. Or use green screen for the purpose . Best wishes 🌼

Saare videos meri team ne hee film kiye hain. Kaii videos mein Asif hain, aur kaii videos mein doosre walk leaders hain. Aur main aur Asif bhi Dekhi Karavan team mein hee hain saath mein. Film and music aksar main banata hun aur Walks and Storytelling Asif banate hain. Hope that helps . Best wishes 😊👍
