This one is out of this planet really. No words. Just feelings and the eternal joy.

This is one of the most favourite ghazals of my father. It's been 2 decades I missed him a lot while listening to the ghazal.

I have seen people suffering immensely, after their life partner goes on the final journey.. that too suddenly.. ! That is why I admire poet Hakeem Nasir sb all the more ..for capturing the bitter final truth of Life.." But ,yes .."hausala dena" we can only pray 🙏 Thanks Suman ji for providing this Musical insight ..in the profound voice of Khan Sahib.

Thankful to you, Suman ji, for sharing another heart warming live performance of Mehdi Hassan saab, one of his manifold renditions, portraying his acumen as a ghazal singer of the highest order! The beauty of the words with the power of voice and flow of music, enhances the heart touching lyrics of this very endearing ghazal penned by Hakeem Nasir sb... There is joy even in melancholy, the way the poet has infused melody in the lyrics... Kaun ghunghat ko uthaayega, sitamgar keh ke..Aur phir kis se kare.nge woh hayaa, mere baad... Phir zamaane mein mohabbat ki na pursish hogii..Royegee siskiyaa.n le le ke, wafaa mere baad... Hausla denaa unhein mere Khuda, mere baad... Sung in his rich baritone voice, with such passion and feelings, he could bring alive the emotions perceived in the poetry.. Such a treat to listen to a very rare version of this marvelous ghazal in the divine voice of Khan sahib.!. No one can ever match his legacy , is too profound and unsurpassable.... Saurab bhai aap great hain. Kya behatarin ghazal ipload ki hai. One of greats of khan saheb. I have been listening to this since 1990s. So touching.

Sumanji ka behtareen aur sureela upload phirse dil ko chhu Liya. Khan Sahib ka ye ghazal bahut hi rare hai. Aur ye version toh hum pahle kabhi nahi suna. Behad pasand Aya mujhe. Shukriya Sumanji, ghazal gayaki ko aapm logon Tam pahuchane ke liye aap ka ye niswarth prayas hum log kabhi nahi bhulenge.

जिंदगी को न बना ले वो सजा मेरे बाद हौसला देना उन्हें मेरे खुदा मेरे बाद कौन घूंघट को उठाएगा सितमगर कहके और फिर किससे करेंगे वो हया मेरे बाद हाथ उठते हुए उनके न कोई देखेगा किसके आने की करेंगे वो दुआ मेरे बाद फिर जमाने में मोहब्बत की न पुरशिस होगी रोएंगी सिसकियां ले लेकर वफा मेरे बाद वो जो कहता था के नासिर के लिए जीता हूं उसका जानिए क्या हाल हुआ मेरे बाद इस गजल के अनेक वर्जन हैं, और इस वर्जन में उस्ताद मेहदी हसन की जादू भरी गायिकी का खास असर महसूस होता है.गजल के मूड के अंदाज में ही कंपोजिशन की गई है. थैंक्स सौरव जी क्या इस गजल में राग मारवा और कलावती के सुर हैं ?
