Is ghazal me aik lumha aisa ata hai jub ustaad aur shagird extreme level per chalay jatay hain. Aur ustaad, shagird se oehtay hain (SORRY) 🤩🤩🥰🥰

Felt elated to listen to this magnificent ghazal - penned by Hasarat Mohani Saab - in the soulful voice of the great Mehdi Hassan Saab - all over again ! What's so special with the great Mehdi Hassan Saab was the fact that he could capture the imagination of the listeners - while performing - by casting a web around them - and carry them along with the rhythm - owing to his magical voice and inimitable style of gayiki ! The great Mehdi Hassan Saab had a rare GOD - GIFTED ability to render a couplet - umpteen times - in umpteen ways - each strikingly different from the other ! He had excelled in both high and low notes - and - had the ability to raising its level gradually to a crescendo ! He had given ample proof of his abilities to this effect in this memorable performance ! Such was the wizardry of this great Wizard of Music ! Such a resourceful singer will ever be born again in this world ! Thankful to Irfan Gabol Saab for having provided this opportunity !
