exactly .. imran mehdi on tabla.. he had full command on sur even when he was ill.. its 1996. he got first paralysis stroke in 1999. recorded duet with lata jee after 2000 ♥️

Our legendary but little ignored singer. We have been just taught to about war lords. We were never taught who was Abdus salaam, who was aga Hassan Abdi etc.,

Delighted to listen to this ghazal of the Maestro for the very first time ! As a matter of fact, together with the great Faiz Ahmed Faiz Saab, the great Mehdi Hassan Saab had made a lethal combination ! Together, they had given quite a number of masterpieces to the World of Ghazal Gayiki ! Personally speaking, l consider their masterpiece -- " Rang Perahan Ki Khusbu Zulf Sawarne Ka Naam" as my all time favourite ! I salute both of these stalwarts for their exploits ! @@IrfanGabol Dear Irfan, Mehdi Hassan was the pioneer of modern ghazal singing. He kept an equal balance in poetry words and musical notes. GREAT upload. Regards. We have to wait for few hundred centuries. Who could imagine to be so pitch perfect and develop skill to do such improvisation and remain so humble. Khan Saheb Mehdi Hasan is unmatchable. Thanks God we have his work saved.

इसमें खान साहेब ने शुद्ध सारंग, बिलावल, गौड़ मल्हार का एक खूबसूरत मेल बनाया है। गौर करिए की रि मा ( तीव्र) पा नी सा आरोही में कितना चमकता है और अवरोही में सा नी धा प मा ( शुद्ध मध्यम) बोहत खूबसूरत लगाव है
