I do not understand how such talent is not on TV or that people do not share as it does with other videos of artists with little talent that only have playback support and lots of music. I'm just beginning cello, and so far I'm going pretty well. But it's hard enough timing the bow and the left hand, as well as singing too! You are very talented to be able to do so with such proficiency :)

Well, I was just wanted to critique your usage of the baroque language, a lot of slurs and excessive vibrato. Your usage of rubato was good though, it's just I tend to play it different since I've really focused on how I interpreted music through the time period's "language". Technique is there though - I'm just an "old guard" kind of person.

I really love your covers, they always sound much better than the originals! Haha. Have you ever heard me the Machine by Imogen Heap, I would love to see you cover that song, I'm trying to learn it on cello myself, and I find that watching you always helps me get in the zone... +PaxtonVids Thanks! The shaking creates vibrato, so instead of being a straight tone, it sounds more like the human voice.

You have an incredible degree of vocal control. Must be all that ear training from playing a fretless instrument. I play tenor guitar tuned an octave higher than cello. I want to do two things. Learn to read sheet music, transfer to cello. I don't want to abandon tenor guitar but I do want to also do cello. I considered an octave tenor guitar but at such a scale length playing vertically is more comfy anyway so why not just go for cello.
