They filmed two episodes, and everyone was so excited, and then Disney Plus decided to pull the plug at the last minute because they wanted the new spinoff to be geared toward a younger audience. They felt like the older version of Lizzie was “too grown up”, so they decided to scrap the idea of the spinoff before it even aired. How crazy is that?! Obviously Lizzie is older now, and many of the people who grew up watching her are roughly the same age who are experiencing similar milestones. Hopefully HBO, Showtime, or Cinemax decides to pick up the series, because Disney is so obnoxious with the “daisies and tulips, we can’t have anything too mature or sexy on our platform” nonsense 🙄
