Right! So funny! When I saw that one of her major beefs with the "lack" of Palace PR "protection" was they wouldn't fight for her against the stylist claim I laughed so hard. It was obvious she didn't use a stylist!!!

She spent so much more than anyone else on clothes and made only 72 engagements in her whole time with the Royal family. Spent near to £600,000 for 72 engagements while Catherine did well over 350 and spent £72,000. That’s what Charles meant when he said he couldn’t afford her.

Kate is known for re wearing a lot of her clothes, the clothing budget goes towards engagements, personal, under garments and nightwear. MM never re wore any of her outfits for engagements over the two years she was a working royal. If she had a stylist or listened to her stylist she probably would have had some amazing outfits. If I was a royal I’d be taking all the help I can get.

So true!!! You don't need to spend a lot of money to look good. I have 3 or 4 outfits that were over $150, but the rest of my clothes are relatively inexpensive, suited to my body shape, and most are separates that I can mix and match with other items. Even my accessories are inexpensive.....it's the way you put an outfit together that matters the most. I have a saying that I use a lot Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!

Hi Beebs, thank you for your work on the do's and don'ts of dress codes. I am not out on a witch hunt but I simply cannot explain why a person with millions of dollars at her disposal can make such huge mistakes when it comes to dressing herself. I find her an insult to every poor person on the streets who cannot afford a blanket or a pillow, let alone warm clothes. She insults the title she loves to use despite trying to inflict a lot of unnecessary pain and chaos on the British Royal Family. She insults the designers of the clothes she buys. She insults every woman by using herself as a coat stand on which she simply hangs stuff willy nilly. I learn a lot from you, thank you.

Speaking of insulting the designers, I watched a video that alleged that Oscar De La Renta was not happy about a (non maternity) dress M wore during her first pregnancy. It was said M is not allowed to wear their designs.

My feeling is that Meghan doesn't listen to anyone, especially a stylist. Her best looks are when she is not trying to be a trend setter or wear expensive clothing for the sake of wearing designer. When she actually followed the Queens rules, and did not make it about her and dressed appropriately for the occasion, she looked good. It is not about having the "perfect" body, but wearing the silhouette and fit that works for your body, and to wear it for the appropriate occasion.

Well, there is "no bad press." She will never change. As long as people are talking about her, that's all she needs.

From the moment the engagement was announced, and her more official tie to the royal family was set, she was in clothing that not only did not suit her, but it looked as if she were wearing costumes. Nothing came across as comfortable, or genuine, and it showed. The other photos appear to be from before she became truly "known" and look like lower level attempts at fashion, attending the opening of envelopes whenever invited. That nobody who saw the price tag dangling off that red dress - before stepping out in public - TOLD HER, speaks volumes to me on how others thought of her, or how her interactions with other people went.

As a boxy framed lady with broad shoulders, I'm BLOWN AWAY that this wealthy woman can't dress herself. I figured out, without knowing why, what cuts work and what doesn't. I have a curvier bottom and leg than her, and I'm proportioned opposite (long torso), but sleeve and neck cuts...it's so easy to just see when something looks unbalanced. She should really embrace a stylist, because she has no eye for it.

Who wears a tight, light, chest-defining top to meet veterans? For the occasion I would choose something a little more modest. It looks like something you'd wear to lunch on a terrace by the Med (or anywhere). For Invictus, be bold if you want but just don't make your boobs the highlight of the outfit.

The Red Dress....could have worked BUT. It is too SMALL---just because a fabric has stretch in it, and you can get it on, does not mean that it fits! The dress was ;made for a longer torso and slimmer middle than Meghan has. (The irony of so much of what doesn't work for Meghan works perfectly on Catherine, who also has a somewhat unconventional figure, which because she is so very slender and tall wears more clothes brilliantly. If you look at the closeup of the red dress it is clearly pulling up....the belt has ridden up to just under Meghan's waist.. and that is because the dress is too tight across Meghan's middle. Vertical tucks are visible in the dress as well as pleats that open very low on Meghans frame (despite the dress having ridden up so much....), The tucks perhaps could have been opened j; a bit to make the dress not ride up, and the pleats could have been opened further up on her torso so the pleats opened not so far down. The pleats should have opened higher.... I am from the era when girls learned to sew and do traditional dressmaking....and that has been invaluable in getting the best fit for me...(I am slender but have a short torso and long legs...). I have also used this knowledge for decades of advising fittings of wedding, debutante, and day or evening dresses for family and friends. Young girls today often don't know how to dress themselves appropriately and flatteringly in traditional clothing because they have so little experience...then they wonder why as young adults selecting the right clothing for professional or social life becomes so difficult unless they have near perfect weight and proportions... (And of course girls are much heavier today than they were in the 1950's to 1970's.)

In a picture dictionary covering phrases, she really would be the picture that illustrates "You can't buy class."

On the tags, I am wondering if the rumor is true? Mrs. NARCkle sells her clothes? When have we seen her rewear? Even Di and Kate practice humility by rewearing their clothing, including their gowns.

The only award that Meghan honestly deserves is the one that distinguishes her as a poorly dressed celebrity

4:23 THAT event was appearing in Europe something to do with the Invictus games, disabled veterans. They actually treated them as Royals. See the roped off area? So makes that outfit even worse. Many veterans complained that she was dressed so inappropriately.

I don’t actually mind a leather jacket over a dress. But not a pleated dress, ever. And you have to put your arms in the sleeves and wear it. And I absolutely hate when she wears an all black outfit with nude heels. No!!! Black dress, black jacket, black heels. I also hate her strapless bra looks with the fake tan. And I hate the massive pants with the sleeveless tank top. Say those words together- giant shapeless pants….. sleeveless turtleneck. Absolutely never. And it makes sense when you hear that she decided to meet her Royal in-laws wearing ripped jeans and no shoes. You can find a homeless woman in ripped jeans and no shoes at any gas station in Florida. I dressed up to meet my ex-boyfriend’s mom, and I didn’t even plan to marry him. I swear she does things like that on purpose, so she can talk about how “silly” it was later.

Yep you got that right...too much fabric. Shes easily swamped with material, collars and bows and belts. Needs to clear them out. The white dress is her style.

That wine color dress looks dirty and stained. Maybe the jacket was to cover that up.

Invictus 2022 was a fashion show for MM. The participants were just backdrop for her, at least that is what it looked like to me.

Was just looking at photos of her New York baby shower and Amal Clooney does the over the shoulder jacket thing.. walking into a hotel, in the snow. It’s like a ‘aren’t I so rich and famous and chic’ thing. 🤦‍♀️

Since I am an engineer, I lack the 'fashion' gene. I usually have no idea if something is suitable or not. But EVEN I can see that Harry's Wife's clothes are tailored very badly. Wrinkles all over, naked parts when not appropriate and she favours the color of mud. Thank you for educating me on the subject.

Yes but it’s clear her maturity is severely stunted. Also; she spent her upbringing at private school. So she was never able to express herself before with her clothing. So it seems like she’s trying to play catch up. But she also refuses good advice cause she knows everything. So there’s that.

The one who told her that she is a fashionicon should've kept his/her mouth because Meghan really need someone who would love her enough to be honest that she dresses herself horribly, but I don't think Meghan is wants honesty but flattery. @@ellevillamor4454 shes not curvy. She has a straight waist, narrow hips. Which is why she often wears a belt.

MM never taylors because she uses the clothes and she sells them afterwards! That is why when she was a working royal she use to buy the costiest wardrobe, which HM King Charles paid for, and she sold everything!

Do more of her horrible, terrible, scary, cringe, what not to wear, from head to toe, inside out, clothes please 🙏 😂 This is so much fun, using our creativity 😀🙃😀🙃

Why does she insist on belts, especially the tied ones? They look so frumpy. I know they don’t look good on me so I don’t wear them. It’s that easy

Also you are of course right about the style, fit , and length of the white dress. But as a seamstress I know that if her tailor had enlarged the side front horizontal darts in the white dress this would have eliminated much or all of the puckering that Meghan has so often between her waist and her bust. Meghans waist is shorter than the where the dress is cut for the waist. Both a rounded and padded bra as well as side darts would help the pucker problem. Meghan reminds me of the nouveau riche girl who picks quantity over quality.... She would be better taking the time getting what she has to fit and flatter her, than buying more ill fitting and unflattering clothes. When she does that you never remember "how well the girl looks", just how bad the outfit looks!"

The leather jacket/delicate dress thing was popular for a minute with Cindy Lauper & Madonna, but that's not Meghan's generation. I think you're right: She was trying to bring it back thinking it had been forgotten. Not a chance lol That said, I really love that you do these because I have the same body type as Meghan...minus the skinny calves & boat feet.

Great posting! I was waiting for the one with the moon bump. She was wearing a heavily embossed dress with a thing that looks like a marshmallow perched on top of her head! Have you Americans got a new word "uncomfortablness?" We Brits say "discomfort!" 😅😅😊❤❤❤

The white halter top is inappropriate for a royal occasion, whatever it was. I really like how hard you try to be fair to her. And I continue to think that a lot of her problem is that she just is not able to put together a team that will help with planning, shopping, fittings and feed-back. She really does love belts, they must make her feel like she is creating a waist, but now that I have listened to you enough I recognize that they emphasize the boxy shape.

Hello Beebs, more fashion would be great. Specifically, color combinations. I rarely step outside the box because I was never taught. Monochrome is my friend.

Many of her outfits just look off to the untrained eye & I like how you explain why. Every so often I see the puddling pants, (not a fan of puddling draperies either) & I think how terribly uncomfortable that must be to have the fabric dragging as you walk. Sometimes her outfits, like that one, seem to be trying for some California cool vibes which isn't appropriate for the ocassion. The beige & brown outfit is just giving the middle finger to royal protocol, I'll do what I want & wear what I want, when I want. A little fashion temper tantrum. Also, imo the red dress was not a good shade with her spray tan or bronzer. I think she could benefit from a stylist for guidance to dress her body type & dress appropriately for an occasion. Anybody who says shes a fashion icon must not know what that means.

She probably left the label on her dress so she could show how much she paid for it

You’re as funny and as spot on as ever, especially about the bathrobe! I have broad shoulders but, like you, feel like a jacket hung over my shoulders is about to slip off. I have learnt so much, including how someone in the public eye needs to dress with cameras and flash photography in mind. It makes me think of Catherine and her sense of style. I’ve always admired her and have grown to appreciate her even more through your videos. Thank you.

I’m sorry but I don’t think the white scooped out armscye turtleneck top is a good look for her wide shoulders. It’s her most cringe fashion moment for me. Her body type would look better in wide straps, like in the white sheath dress, which helps de-emphasize her wide shoulders and if she adds a V neck, it 14:42 would help elongate her torso more instead of a crew neck. She does need mid rise pants.

That outfit was absolutely hideous. Does she not check herself in the mirror before leaving the house?

The wide trousers were awful. The red dress was really nice. The label IMO says she has no friends... a friend would have made sure the tag was removed. The black coat was ok but I agree the belt is just wrong. Black trousers are ok but the top is a mes. The white dress suits her but her pose/stand lets it down. And, the brown hat is awful along with her behaviour... Sticking her tongue out at well wishes

It was reported that the assistant given her by the Palace and that she forced out with bullying (the one that Jason Knauf referred to) was on the plane and didn't stop her walking out with the tag showing. Have to say, if I was being bullied by this pair, I would not have said anything either!!

I would love to see more of the "What not to wear" with other celebrities' fashion mistakes, even Kate. I love the Meghan series though because of the way she makes expensive clothes look cheap. I never understood why. I see it now. Thank you.

The German trip was a pseudo royal tour. They were greeted well. It was connected with Invictus games I think. She looks like she’s wearing her fathers trousers and had to pull them up to stop them dragging in the dirt. She left the tags on because she was planning to sell or return the dress. Apparently she sold a lot of the clothes that King Charles paid for.

That belt on the coat, in my opinion the worst part of it was how messy the bow was! She was on an American TV show years ago where she was a murderer (good casting!) and she was caught because of a horribly tied bow. You would think she would learn!

I loved the burgundy biker jacket, just not what she paired it with. The huge legged trousers were her trying to copy Michael Obama's look on a late night talk show. She probably did it to say, "Look, Michelle, we dress alike and have the same style sense. I should play u in ur movie. "
