Watching this at the end of 2021 and (there's nothing wrong with these costumes) comparing ALL of the costumes to the ones we have today and wow, even the ones with minimal style changes all just look so much more, idk, expensive these days? The whole point of alternates is to give the actual cast a break. They have scheduled performances to be off and put an alternate on. They probably didn't have anything else to do and wanted to say a final goodbye to Grace.
