I keep telling them Meg is not an independent artist in the traditional sense, because she's contracted with Roc Nation and Warner. Like somebody has to pay for all this damn promo and touring. And they actually believe an "independent" artist is paying for all this bringing in low album sales. Lets be honest, Meg has both Warner & Roc Nation in the red at this point and clearly she's not happy with the response she's getting about the album, nor is she happy about Billboard's prediction, because she didn't repost it on her page. Whelp! 🤷🏾‍♂️ Another thing. I believe management wanted her to tour prior to the album coming out thinking it would help her sales. How unfortunate 😬 But believe me, they will find a way to fudge those numbers. Meg & Cardi are both in the same boat. Owing these companies money after paying for payola, promo, etc.

The music industry is a BUSINESS first. When they payola your music u must pay them back and if folks dont believe the hype and support u, the comp drops u🤷🏽‍♀️

That’s how chart data is they always release the predictions few days to the actual charting they have done the same for all artists and the predictions are as per the way the album sales and the streams have been going and they are never wrong if they would add a lot of numbers to the actually charting announcement date it would be very obvious it was payola
