Sadly, articulating how a painting is made won’t make it beautiful or interesting. MFA programs and galleries seem to think it’s all about concept, and that couldn’t be further from the truth. These paintings aren’t even mediocre.

Hi i share your opinion thats why i cant seem to exhibit i just cant make up bullshit concepts , do you no any gallerys or organisations i could approach without a long exhibiting history and strong concept where i could just exhibit , im in brighton

dear Thaddaeus lately as a gallery you always go "down" to quality (latest join Sean Scully for example) .Probably alternative or difficult art dont sell anymore like in the past and you try those ordinary and old abstract decorative things, like this artist do. Sad.
