I grew up with Megaman. We were both born in '86. The very first game I EVER played was Megaman 2 on the NES. X, X2, and X3 on the SNES where some of my favorite games on the console. I've been keeping an eye on your project for quite a while now and I get excited to see any updates you post. It looks amazing. I'm looking forward to the day I get to play this game because it seems like you've been able to capture, reproduce, and even improve upon what made all those classic Megaman games so great.

I like how the bosses don't have invincibility frames. Because it makes chaining combos with Zero a lot more usefull. And not to be easy the bosses have a realy long healthbar,so it makes battles with Zero more exciting 'cause you can chain combos and the batles take longer,so you really feel like you're fighting a boss. Good work there, Congrats

BOMBastic Gameplays Everything related to megaman is owned by Capcom, supose you make a chair with the image of Zero for selling purposes, as Capcom owns the right to the franchise they can sue you for a lot of money.

Have you played MegaMan X4, right? It's Zero's Voice when he performs his signature combo attack. Hu~ First vertical slash Ha~ An horizontal slash HU~! The last attack which can do more hits and maybe some more damage.

Only MegaMan X4 (US version) had that Voice Actor. They say he was the worst Zero ever. Still, you gotta play X4 ASAP and see what I mean.

This game just keeps getting better and better, I seriously cant wait to play this game, but take as much time developing this . Keep up the good work.

The OST to this level is really good & Zero's gameplay is a lot better then I remember it for him. I can't wait to play this in some sort of way. Hopefully a test level at least with a mini boss.

You are bringing my greatest dream back: SNES styled me ga man x games, no random dialogue, just awesome speed and powers. THANK YOU! (Now all I gotta do is join the PC master race goddamn it, hate the idea.)

man sometimes every time I check your videos I could slap myself because I only get more hyped to see this game release. The sprites look good, there are cool technices for zeroo and awesome weapons for X and the fast gameplay that I learned to love in MMX6 (my first X game) - one question about Zeros jumping tho, will he just have a regular double jump like you use it so far? I really loved that double jump from X6 with the summersault midair

Awesome stuff as always. As far as I'm concerned, that teleporting counter slash is the only way to deliver the final blow to bosses. ;D

Man, this is probably my favorite stage based on music alone. add in gameplay and art direction, and this game is borderline UNFAIR with how good it has the potential to be.

The controls look as smooth as butter. The music is pleasant and somewhat reminiscent of Sonic, the world is big and pretty. I like.

I kinda wish one of Zero's armors is JKB Games original. Black Zero was in X4. And Virus Zero are like the shadows from X5 and Nightmare Zero from X6, with a faceplate.

+Cernunnos Viral Zero is new, it has different legs, chest and helmet(not only faceplate). The color scheme is different from nightmare and the abilities are nothing like it.

Easily the best Megaman fan project I've seen. The combo system looks awesome and judging from the videos it actually looks like fun and seems to control pretty well. I've always thought regenerating ammo in a MMZ / MMX game would work really well, and I'm surprised Capcom never implemented such a system in their games.Can't wait to play this for myself, keep up the good work!

Viral Zero is looking better every time you showcase him! Can't help but notice how easy he got through the first part compared to X. And the teleport-slash move, I like it >=D!

In the X video, he was playing on S rank with the Final Four effects. In this video I don't think he was even playing A rank, and I didn't see any Final Four effects.

This is an amazing creation and I love the level designs and boss music! The boss characters are fresh and well-designed and the weapons are highly intuitive. This is quite simply one of the best X games I've seen made by the community hands-down. I don't suppose you're considering approaching Capcom with this? This deserves to see the light of day and you've already done all the work for them, how can they refuse? They've yet to do anything with X in 12 years, which is far too long to let a franchise go. If they have any sense, they'll hire you!

That surprised me when I saw Force Breaker/Ryukkuhaken was Raffler's weakness.

The moment this game comes out, it will be my favorite game of all time.

Jack Jihad Dominic Ninmark is really awesome the way he made some the Maverick Rising songs it was just purely organic badassery!

I kinda like the idea that both X and Zero are just as OP as the bosses you fight

Daaaang Viral Zero looks game breaking in the most badass way possible. I don't mind though, it's nice to see how far Corrupted has come since its inception. Can't think of an indie/fan game that has made me more excited than this one, I look forward to this more than Mighty No.9 even. This is where the MMX series *should* have gone after X5.

Oh man. This is just, just freaking revolutionary among Mega Man games. You have risen above the standard of Capcom. Viral Zero is such a beast. It's noticeable that you wanted to make the player feel crushingly powerful against enemies and bosses whereas traditional Mega Man games make some bosses feel superior to the player in raw power. That counter move is so cool. I love your game-making skills.

I wish that Capcom would at least attempt to try & make a "decent" Mega Man like this guy is doing right now! Keep up the great work, man! 🤗

If Capcom were smart they would offer you a license to produce this game in exchange for a royalty and fund your team and their development. You have really made an incredible game here. I know this would be a blockbuster if it ever sold.

Le Dapper Greninja im willing to bet hes only showing this one maverick to avoid spoilers. I'd do the same thing. He can show off all the cool suits, moves, mechanics, etc in one or two zones and against 1 boss with ease. There are literally no fan-made games of any major series that i have had any interest in, except this one. This game looks AMAZING cant wait for release!

Actually i do know about that, but i havnt looked at it in awhile. Last i knew the game was "playable" for the first....15 metroids? but it was missing a ton of stuff still. It looked great, but when i saw it it was too early in development to say yay or nay.

The only thing more perfect would be if they incorporated some of the absolute zero design from command mission (since it calls back to bass the same way the first armor sorta called back to the rush armor to megaman in a way) still this is amazing. They even made it purple kinda like the zero nightmare! This is peak fan love.

Oh my mistake about the thumbs up stance. It's there it looks like. Pretty badass one too.

Did you change Zero's voice lines for the viral armor? I noticed a slight difference between what I saw before and this.

If I don't get to listen to that boss theme by itself within the next year I will finally end my life.

urias134 Special skills uses saber energy. Saber energy regens slowly and also replenishes when you hit enemies with your regular attacks.

Damn Zero Looks Bad Ass He Looks Like A Damn Ninja

I'm seriously loving that counter attack

The story goes after MMX4. The Viral Armor is come from Zero normal red armor with totally 500% infected by Zero Virus.. He accidentally found another Zero Virus core in a mission, and get infected. The risk is Zero go berserk when killing too many reploids, it happens in the last chapter story of MMXC. Only Ultimate X can fights he down, though it nearly kill X itself.. In the last shot, X said, "Iris will be sad if you lose yourself!!!".. Shocked, Zero wake up from his berserk mode. At last, Zero ask HQ to plant a protection chip to his Viral Armor, though it will lowering its power and looks like current ultimate black armor which become can be used in MMX5 to fight hard boss (normal story, without cheat). The protection chip will make it more controllable and prevent Zero go berserk. Then the story continues to MMX5, in the last chapter, Zero realize that Viral Armor is his real power, and the armor exist to complete his real mission, to kill X. (just my story) :D

Is the Viral Form based on the Zero Ultimate Armor which had a lot of Wily Motifs to it that was supposed to show up in X4 but was later cancelled?

Christian Valentin I can see this video is from last year. It really has been taking a lot of time, perhaps it'll be released next year cause of the 30th anniversary.

I just have one thing to ask. You should add that fading animation in his hole move set, make it appear sometimes in a while not too often and I think that would look better, just a suggestion. Btw the game looks awesome, keep the good work.

3:16 Everyone going about the gameplay and everything which is really amazing I'll admit but are we even looking at the dialogue? This phrase alone is by far better than anything said in the original series

CrimsonAnihilator to be honest, I played MMX6 first, MMX7 and then went back and play MMX5 and4, I almost never read any of the games dialogue anyway after realising fast, its not helping with the atmosphere much, the gameplay was all that matters for the series (IMO)

Good boss fight. That was pure clutch!

Nicely polished game. Only one small detail seems to be missing. Mm and zero don't limp when they're dying. I'm so used to beating a boss while nearly dead and seeing my character limping as he teleports out. They don't give you the thumbs up either before they teleport out.

I love that Viral armor for Zero.

I have a small question (I can't remember if I have asked this in a previous video or if someone else has prior so sorry if you've already seen this type of question): Will there be any way to boost the Damage output and Range of the Z-Saber via parts or can it be done via leveling up?
