I don't get why everyone is venting about Vlads interviews. They are what they are and it's just his style. What people need to understand about interviewing people is an interviewer will always want to cover a topic that has controversy so that they can build up their own picture of events, unlike most they don't settle for hear say. If you listen carefully he genuinely gets most people to open up and speak on things that most interviewers can't get them too do.

Mr Vlad, you need to have a reassessment of how you record sound to camera quite radically, that radio mic is mounted appallingly. Centre it to the chest, and lower it down to roughly where the natural dip in the chest cavity is, also when interviewee heads are turned, you'll have coverage. Where it is currently is you have loads of boxy proximity effect going on and it sounds pretty bad to say the least. Mount it to your subject get them to talk and then adjust gains on the mic transmitter to the receiver mounted on your camera aka your 'camera hop" way prior to conducting the interview. That ish was bothering me, had to get it off my chest. No pun intended.

The UK is smaller than about a dozen US states....Some states are literally double the size of our whole country....People forget that, The chances for urban music was 1000 times harder to conquer in the 90's and if you lived outside London in another city almost impossible....The underground scene in the UK has always been the force....From the illegal shebeens to the rave and jungle movement....Basically the US and UK are different worlds us both speaking the English language is where the Familiar shit stops....These guys really made it possible for UK artists to get paid from street music the UK was waaaay behind as far as the powers that be accepting the culture into the limelight.
