I LOVE this Megalodon design, it DOESN’T look like an upscaled great white or porbeagle. It's got a unique look while still looking like a lamnid shark. A perfect 10/10 from me.

I like that Nothosaurus one. It's like how a great white kills a seal.

Not really true, sharks in general prefer to bite the fleshy parts rather than the bony parts of prey. This is because the fleshy parts have most of the arteries, blood vessels and veins. Even in fossil research, the bite marks on bone from extinct whales are shallow rather than fractured. Some bones are fractured and destroyed, but many researchers believe it's a case of scavenging.

JWE2 should have a blood/gore toggle, it would be off at default but could be turned on, that would make these videos so much better

Why? Predators in general ONLY go for fleshy parts of prey instead of bony parts. Especially sharks which target major arteries and blood vessels.

Megalodon is a great addition in Jurassic World. And its design is gorgeous!

Don’t really mind that. If I'm playing a Dinosaur game I'd rather have some actually prehistoric looking animal be the top dog instead of mostly just upscaled great whites. We still have sharks around, doesn’t really tickle my fantasy to just see a bigger one

I’m glad they actually put some effort into their Meg design. It’s not just a blown up Great White.

Honestly.... I am a bit disappointed in the Meg's hunting animations. I know it is supposed to be a big brute/bully but each kill looks like an afterthought instead of an actual hunt. Just one small chomp and every single thing is done for. No struggle or actual "coming up from below" except for the shark feeder. Would have been a great idea to add it gaoning speed from below and slamming a styxo or tylo up and out of the water like a great white and a seal.

It would be good if these creatures didn’t just hunt for sport, I mean I know it’s just a game, but the main criticism of the indominus rex for Jurassic World was that it just hunted for sport, but yet it’s treated as normal for a game about Jurassic World. There should be a reason behind the killing, not just because it’s a big brute. Besides that, I love the detail that it looks just like a sized up great white, because that’s what it was, unlike ark which made it a small puffed up balloon shark. Edit: and I mean come on, I know that megalodon is unstoppable, but I mean none of the other marine reptiles even tried to put up a fight, and they all died in one shot, personally don’t think that’s realistic, especially for the supersized JW mosa!

If the game was r rated we'll see the most gruesome and flesh tearing animations

Yea, but Meg one shots them. I have tried to get them to fight multiple times. 9/10 times the Meg won with one hit, the 10th one it was 2 hits because the Mosa had been in the tank longer. There is a new king in the lagoon.

It sucks it doesn’t interact with archelon

With lipluradon I think they messed up with the animation at the end cause it looks like it's still breathing before the meg bites the tail which makes me think the meg was supposed to bite its neck to finish it off

It's just a shame that this megalodon model doesn't have megalodon teeth but a great white shark.

Some of these animations are pretty underwhelming, just one bite and that’s it

Why have it lock onto the tail just to instantly let go after fatally wounding them already? Couldve done the neck instead

A bit lack luster for me personally. Could’ve put more action into them so the Meg actually swims fast up to them or leaps out from under them like a great white killing a seal.

Games like these are where you need to make detailed kills. Most Megalodon kills are bland to me meanwhile some horror movies get it just right so its both eye catching gore and sickening emotionally.

Meg should've been the one to finally be able to hunt archelon, 50,000 PSI isn't able to crush a giant turtle shell?

I would like the dinosaurs to die or fall naturally when they die and not like their models ball up and fall, I hope jwe3 has better animations

Part of the Malta expansion, it has a big open aquatic enclosure.

The kill animations are so lazy. There's no way ot could kill a Mosasaur of that size without getting injured itself.

In reality a mosasaurus would kill a megalodon

Not really, it didn't have as much mass as a Megalodon and the largest were about 14 meters while the largest Megs were 20.3 to POSSIBLY 23 (debatable) meters.
