Imagine if there was a secret 8th boss that you only got if you defeated the other seven secret bosses. The demon that comes when it's name is called. The Knight. Imagine if Toby Fox took advantage of Megalo Strike Back being the theme of Chara, and used it for their secret 8th boss battle in Deltarune. The fandom would go wild.

I think it would only happen if you did the weird route though, and I think if Chara is in Deltarune, their name is your own name. And I think they've been with Kris and the player, narrating all along, just like in Undertale.

@@jhehalin2008 star? but star is a scrapped theme in undertale, many people assumed the theme was for the castle room in waterfall, and if you check the game files, chara's true theme is called "mus_zzz_c", while "mus_zzz_c2" is for the jumpscare sound

It would be really cool if this played in a boss fight against Kris who went on a rampage against the soul "player" for committing weird routes and, in the fight, we can never act or fight, just dodge until they become tired. The description of the fight would be "just keep on dodging, they can't attack forever". The fight would sync with the music and, because Kris can't stay without the soul forever, would not last long and would use everything they have against us until they can't move anymore.

The original MSB sounded like a battle theme from undertale/deltarune, but this version sounds like horror battle theme because of the calmer motifs dotted here and there, 200/100

What spamton hears during fighting with kris in snowgrave route:

Super great revamp of a classic song! I’d love to hear this used in a battle. The mix of the softer piano and electric elements mixed with the harder drums, kick, and such really make it great. Also love the encounter sound used in the drop, great addition!

I'm calling it "the Nameless Vessel" because A: the person you name in Deltarune isn't the human, it's the soul, as evidenced from the final scene of chapter 1; and B: because the Vessel was not sentient before the post-game cutscene, where it gained sentience, ripped Kris out, and became a SOULless killer.

Sans: hmmm it looks like someone else wants to have a bad time
