I love watching people discover Holy Wars. Ive probably seen 50 reaction videos of HW this was one of my favorites because it was so real. You are just taken it in eyes wide, and it punched you in the face. Great reaction dude. This whole album is of this caliber.

This song and Metallica's Master of Puppets are the 2 greatest Trash Metal songs ever in my opinion. BTW all the songs from the album Rust in Peace are superb.

Megadeth was my first concert ever, back in 87. It was the so far so good so what tour. I’ve seen Megadeth three times, and I also saw them on their RUST IN PEACE tour. I’ve seen them play this live twice.

It's kinda crazy. MD is probably 3rd for me out of the Big Four but I've seen them live more times than any other band. Dave was a worker.

@@Detrucci If you do Hanger 18 (and you fffffuckin should!), make sure it's not the music video. That's missing like a minute of solos. Do either album version, I'm cool with either.

I have listened to metal since years before this came out, I still listen. This is without a doubt on of the best metal songs ever.

Might be one of the best solos in whole metal music 6:36 ... maybe just after Tornado of Souls by Dave as well... his skill is insane!

Set the World Afire, 502, Mary Jane, Hook in Mouth, Into the Lungs of Hell, all fire thrash tunes from back in 88. I love old Metallica but i think Dave and Cliff were the best parts of that band, no offense to James.

Yeah there is actually quite alot of bands like this for me, I was quite stubborn as a teenager and liked what I liked and most of it was stuff that was on like Kerrang or Skuzz, i didnt even check out much else and so unless a friend showed me a particular band, I wouldnt have ventured in to their music

Oh man... Last Rites... Loved yo death, The Mechanix, The Conjuring, In my Darkest Hour, Tornado of Souls, Dystopia, Head Crusher, Peace Sells, Sweting Bullets, Sleepwalker... And so many others

:) Definitely in the Top10 all time metal songs. Never underestimate #MegaDave (& this album with Marty Friedman on geetar in particular). Tremendous, *undeniable* stuff.

So that album was from 1987 - 1988 , this is the Best Megadeth song , there current album came out in 2016 it is called Dystopia and they won a grammy for it , they have just gotten better and better over time. They are awesome!

I know I'm a bit late, but like you. I was always a Metallica fan. Then I finally listened to Megadeth and I was blown away to say the least. Keep rockin my dude ✌

Dave Mustaine, and Marty Friedman is absolut killers on a guitar, thats what i love most about Megadeth, they really can do some riffs thats out of this world.. so always followed them, been in the drawer, up again, but always been there.. Holy wars(the punishment due) is a top Megadeth song, and a killer yes, but they did a lot of great stuff. if you want something live to react to, i can reccomend Live in San Diego 2008 concert, cant remember what is best there, but could be a song like Take no prisoners maybe..

@@nigel7779 I knew someone was going to say that (i.e. go "tribal" for one band or the other), and I'm sorry but I must dismiss such arguments. Ford and Chevy BOTH make excellent vehicles, and both bands make killer riffs (both the car companies and the bands made a few turds as well). Also, neither band would be half as awesome if the other didn't exist. Would "Rust in Peace" even exist if Dave hadn't heard "Master of Puppets" and set his sights on out-doing it? Mustangs, Focuses, and F150 Raptors are epic awesome, but so are Corvettes, Camaros and Chevelles.

One of the greatest things to happen in American metal was Dave getting kicked out of Metallica.. Gave us Megadeth.. A place where Dave could look down on Metallica and pat them on the head for making the effort without him... :)

Where are the bands...? Also try Pantera, Anthrax, Slayer, Metallica....Also, this is widely regarded are one of the best metal songs of all time.

Start from the beginning stick to the originals and don't skip a song you won't be disappointed in Megadeth presentation of what they considered to be Quality Technical music
