​@@Pantallicaatbh i think it's not that big of a deal. Kiko has proved himself and earned the public recognition as the official lead guitarist of Megadeth already. He already has had, and will still have many more shows with Megadeth while Marty only remains a guest for a period of time. It's ok for him to play a lil bit more for now as no one knows if we will ever see him with Dave again after these shows.

Not to shit on Dave’s vocals, (I’m actually a big fan) but objectively his voice sounds pretty rough here. Props to the man for still playing out but I’d hate to see people not acknowledge the decline in vocal quality much to the detriment of live performances… see Motley Crue..

@@bestwesterner I last saw him live when they headlined for Dream Theater on Portnoy's last tour with them. He sounds much better here. Dave has always sounded "rough" live. Older singers almost always struggle to sing in the range they did in their youth.

​@@BaronVonBielski No joke, his voice from the 90s was incredible. If he found it again I'd lose it and love it. I'm not a voice expert, but I love analyzing all of this. Dave's low stuff sounds pretty clear, like in Symphony, so I don't think he's challenged with breath/projection, as I hear vibrato and his pitch is always good as far as I can tell, even if the notes aren't always coming out clearly. When he hits the higher portions of his range, I see a lot of tension and hear a lot of nasality from, I suppose, not opening his mask. I know Dave has history with his neck, throat and cancer, which of course left him with less strength to provide the diaphragmatic support he used to, but I'm happy to see him gaining that back. If we can relieve the tension he'll regain power in his voice, and if he opens his mask he'll sound clearer.

This is how you do a three guitar metal band. No-one dancing just playing.

I was there at the show!! Awesome to see Marty play with them. Right before Maiden as well

I would suggest you to look into "By inheritance" from the band Artillery, extremely intricate riffs really close in difficulty to megadeth stuff, such an underrated gem!

Every time Marty goes on stage, Kiko feels like the man who married a woman, and her ex-husband comes around and sits down on the couch, eating all the popcorn.

Kiko knows how iconic Marty is for Megadeth and for the whole fans. There’s no ego involved and this is exactly what makes him who he is. Clear and simple.

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful surprise! Right before I logged on, I thought "what will YT give me today for a birthday surprise"? YT didn't disappoint. Knew Megadeth played Wacken & I've been waiting! Marty's here too! Also, it's a coincidence. If I would've wanted any band to suddenly appear, it would be Megadeth. Dave & I are the same age.
