I saw Megadeth at the Brooklyn Tavern in Cleveland OH on Killing is my Business tour. My friends in Destructor opened. A bar not much bigger than my home. It was awesomeness! Close n personal. Words can't explain. I saw and met Metallica months before on the Ride the Lightning tour. Great show, but Dave and the crew... We'll let's say.. I like both back then, but that Megadeth show changed my life... I played guitar years before I saw those bands, yet Dave has that style that says.. melt your face! Oh and business is good btw!

NICE ..... Those early shows are always amazing to remember . I saw the Peace Sells tour when they opened for Alice Cooper . My early catch was seeing Rush for a Dollar and 02 cents in the seventies . It was a promotional concert for WLRS 102 ( Dollar , two concert ) in Louisville , Kentucky . I also saw Pat Travers play in bar in Mt. Dora Florida not a few miles from where Randy Rhoads died in that horrible plane crash . Too bad we lost Randy so early .... He was a GREAT guitarist and was pumping new FIRE into rock guitar . PK

This is the album that got me into Megadeth!

I was in middle school, fully immersed in horror movies when this came out. The music & lyrics checked every single box. Still scratches that same itch nearly 40 years later.

No offense to Dave or any of the other 500 guitar players who've been in Megadeth, but that entire intro solo is the best to ever appear on a Megadeth album. Such a smooth and flawless transition going from slow and moody, to just an explosion of shredding that still manages to be melodic. Bravo Chris Poland.

This song was way ahead of it's time. Megadeth in general were doing some things at that time than bands weren't picking up on until much later; especially on this album. It's kind of crazy going back to this album and listening to how it had an impact in changing this genre entirely.

One of the best 'metal' songs ever written. When you 'really listen' to the guitar, you'll know the story.

This has to be one of the greatest metal guitar masterpieces (particularly the opening guitar solos) ever written by any band in metal, from the opening notes right through to the end, I’m totally in awe of this band especially at this time period 👌🏻

The lyrics are so brutal that it can easily fit on to a brutal death metal song.

No, he won't consider it. He gave himself to Christ, there is a very good spiritual reason he doesn't play these, and I can feel why. They can alter your spirit. There are actual demon summoning lyrics on some of his songs like the Conjuring. It's good for the people. Good for Dave.

Holy fuck, i wish so damn bad

I'll say it one more time! This intro and lead from Chris was a young man pouring out his soul. This isn't typical "shred" or whatever... You feel it too. 😢 You can actually hear the guitar choking up while "inhaling." It's about to sob! Right around the 00:59 second mark. This is mastery of emoting. Period.

Brings me back to ‘86 when 12 year old me saving up to buy this album on tape and loving it ever since.

I try to listen to this masterpiece every morning to start my day, the intro is the most beautiful notes I've ever heard, God Bless these men ❤

I love 'Good Mourning' so much, it's almost embarrassing. I don't think I want to say how many times I have listened to the first 2 minutes of this song.🤭 Pretty sure I have not found cooler dual guitar playing than that. There is just something about it that I can't seem to get enough of. 😕

There are tons of guitar notes, riffs, n licks that's have a relatively simple concept to understand. The real challenge is havin the drive, dedication, + time to spend practicing to master them

I remember seeing this album at venture department store back in the 80s when I was just a little kid

@@migueld3208 Uno se siente viejo,o yo me siento viejo, porque en los comentarios hay muchos que empezaron en los 2000s o incluso mas recientemente con Megadeth. Igual conozco mucha gente acá en Argentina que empezó en los 80s y todavía siguen escuchando este tipo de musica todavía. Afortunadamente.
