When it comes to air pollution, waste, traffic or recycling, a densely populated megacity like Mumbai faces hughe challenges. DW's Swati Bakshi is on tour in the capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra to see green solutions and - of course - to visit the Gateway of India, one of the country's most famous landmarks.

    The most historic site in Mumbai are Elephanta Cave Temples built in 600 BC ❤❤❤❤ not the colonial eyesore of Gateway

    sapne dekhna chod de. The transform ation in the last 10 yrs has been minimal. Even today more than 50% of Mumbai lives in slums. A few metro lines and bridges doesnt change all that much. are u even mumbaikar?
