Thankyou. Yes, it was certainly a sad day and quite emotional. It's nice that CrossCountry had repainted the powercars, put a headboard on the train, and that so many people turned out to see it along the route. I've seen videos through Devon, the Midlands and Yorkshire and I'd imagine several thousand people must have watched that last train if you add up all the locations. An appropriate send-off.

Quite a few have been exported to run on a new line in Mexico, so it's intetesting to see them getting a new lease of life abroad. I think some have gone to Nigeria too.

You could take a similar synical view to every video on KZread. Let me think - shock as goal scored in football match, shock as six hit in cricket game, shock as poser crashes Lamborghini, shock as restaurant reviewer is wowed by restaurant that serves vaguely edible food. The list really is endless.
