​@@ryanzutell1423They did for early timezone regions, such as New Zealand and Australia, the eggs were only spawning in less populated areas, and very hard to find, until the raid already started, than they fixed it half way during the raid, but it caused many people to travel long distances and missed the raid.

Campfire really came in clutch for this raid day, did about 6 raids ! 7-15 trainer lobbys

Niantic screw up this raid. They said eggs will appear 24 hours before. However, early morning changed to appear at 6am local time. If they can’t do a simple thing as what they mentioned, don’t mention it.

​@@courraffeThe problem is the egg only showed up on very few new elite gyms at first, all the EX gyms did not get the egg until the raid almost begain in Australia, and for New Zealand, they showed up after the 12pm raid already finished...

It was a pleasure raiding with you and everyone who came out in DC earlier today! I was one of the few ppl who caught a 98 and got a “where’s my Hundo?!” pin. Hope to be able to catch you at another event some time in the future!

Might be the only person to say this but elite raid was fun today ..did 25 in total and 2 shiny …it was fun zooming around town doing raids with the community …everyone would get off there cars during the 15 min breaks and talk then caravan the raids had like 15+ cars following each other the whole time 😅

I did 2 raids, there were people in the lobby when I happened to be nearby, and one of them was an 84% shiny. The raids are kind of a joke, though. They’re full lobbies, but there’s *no one around*. Literally, it’s just me, nobody else is playing. Everyone is spoofing.

Niantic actually just killed a huge method of spoofing so it’s more likely people are just nearby and out of sight

Had over 100 people come out of everywhere in my city where we met up. Got 18 rayquaza raids in total, and I got a hundo!

but how many of those 100 people would have come out if they had not been forced to by the Elite Raid system?? Most probably have a life and other necessary things they needed to do and would have preferred the option to join remotely

thanks for hosting! it was quite a productive day!

I was blessed to be let out an hour early from work and was able to last minute make this event, which i did want since my only mega ray was traded to me and was 1 star (which its Rayquaza itll be good even as a nundo but still). I caught 4 raids, one ran, 1 two star, one three star, and one shiny three star. And i started the day with a shiny Meltan from the research. Im sorry that they were elite raids and not a lot of people could go, but i hope those that did make it had as good luck as i did today.

in my first 4 raids i ended up getting 2 shinies. needless to say. i screamed both times.

Looks like you and the others had a great day! Congrats on both catching a shiney! Me and my group went around with bikes and caught a bunch of them. I do have to say it sucked that Niantic didn't have them appear 24h before which would have made planning a lot easier and less stressful. Luckily me and my friends found out a day prior that the elite raids inside the city were super shit since they were too far apart. Several hours before the first ones would hatch we discovered a park around a lake which luckily had a lot more of them, so we informed everyone where to go and cycled around the park for the raids.

Did 2 raids and guess what 1st one shiny and second one 15 15 14 iv

i got a shiny hundo finally!!! i missed last years rayquaza raids and i got blessed w shundo and a 95 ray as well :3 also went 16/16 and caught every one!!!

the most messed up thing about these being elite is they are mega raids you usually have to do more than one to unlock a mega, so for a lot of new players doing these they will have to try do to not just one elite but multiple.

Eggs for elite raids WILL NOT ever spawn unless the gym in question is a EX raid gym, most people don’t get eggs because the gyms are not EX eligible.

Since I got so many during GoFest23 last year, I wasn't too worried about this. I ended up doing just one and it was a 6pm one. It was still a good showing, 12 people for the first raid right at 6pm and had a group of 7 for the rest of the time. I enjoy Elite Raids because I live in a small town so Elite Raids are far and few between but the plus of that is it brings more people together. However, I usually want to be there right on time because if I miss that first group, it's difficult to have enough people for another raid. This Mega Rayquaza raid was probably the most challenging raid I have done. Overall though, I'm happy I was able to get 2 Meteorites from completing both sets of tasks.

Ahhh….Washington DC. When your other video you said Washington, I was like why is he all the way over in Washington state. Now I get it.

Honestly elite raids were good, found so many people in my area I didn't know played! Almost 2 full lobbies!

Netherlands. I did 8 raids (Which was the max possible at my area), got 2 shiny. Not bad.

I almost didn't do these raids today but I'm really glad I did. Had such a great time! I got 1 decent shiny. Wife got 2 shinys and my daughter got a shiny and a HUNDO!

Ima say that my Ray day was awesome! I only did 11 raids with my community and I got 2 shinies! First raid of the day and on the 7th raid. The 4th raid, I got a 98 ray and a friend caught a hundo 💯

I was kinda lucky 19 ppl were doing the elite raids near me Edit: I got 2 rayquazas, but they are both 2 stars which I found very common and now I got 625 mega energy

Campfire is helpful, I just installed it recently.

Did 20 raids not a single shiny smh. Other wise blessed to have 7 shinies from last year.

Did three raids and got only one good three star. Traded a two star and ended up getting an unlucky lucky trade. He turned 15-15-11 😁

Shiny rayquaza was my dream Pokémon and I got it on my first raid! The second rayquaza I got was a 98 in! My dad also got a 98 in rayquaza!

BIIG FAN I saw you in nyc last year and got a signed shirt! And btw my results were four shinies, and my friend failed a 98% and got three shinies

I dislike elite raids but I finished today with a hundo, an 89, a 96, a shiny 93, and a raid nundo! 7 raids total done, and someone traded me a shiny yveltal for a normal rayquaza

Yeah i biked around my town for 6 hours and there was only 2 other people trying to raid mega rayquaza i didnt get a single raid in all day

Did 12 raids no shiny but got a 94. Rayquaza is so hard to catch

Yeah they had bad teams, my 20 man raid train were able to take it down in 0:56 ( our fastest time )

I could only make one raid and it was SHINYY😂 still missing a normal one tho..

Stupid Niantic! That day was circling around my area at Georgetown, Penang and I only found three eggs from 5pm to 6.30pm! Managed only fight two as the other one is at private property!

I could only do 3 but got enough to mega evolve one Ray and hopefully in future I can get a shiny

Usually more elite eggs available in my areas but could only find and do 2 this time finding out last minute only the 1pm and 6pm ones available wasting time and battery life both times and then 2nd raid app closes on me having to restart and we lose by a few hits/ seconds then barely winning 2nd try by few seconds so not enough mega energy to mega evolve sadly

brandontan had luck that there alot of ray spawns i went to a park with 12 gyms and there where only 3😢

I was able to do around 15, sadly no shiny which is really all i wanted. but at least i got a 96% which is quite good. I had a glitch where i couldnt rejoin the raid after i died so i tried leaving, but it didnt work so i restarted my game but by that time it was done so i had to start a new one but everyone left. sadly missed two as well as i came right as everyone left

I don't know how peoples are getting so much shiny or hundos ?! I did a total of 10 raids and i managed to catched only 2 times. Not even a single shiny or hundos 😡😡 Total waste of time and pokemon coin 🤬🤬🤬🤬

I will never be able to do well with this game because I work every weekend.

I was hoping to catch Raq. But when I loaded it up and seen it was 88k cp with the lack of local players it was never gunna happen for me 😢. I play for free and never spend money on the game and Niantic stuffed up because I was going to purchase remote raid passes to get Raq.

Did total of 18 Ray raids 3 of them were shiny’s but not good iv’s

I was only able to raid in the 12 and 1pm slots got 7 though and 2 meteorites

I was doing at least 7 or 8 trying to get a shiny and I didn’t get one and I really wanted one hahah😢

I thought elite raids would be so bad i wouldnt even win 1 raid but i did 5

Elite ride is very difficult to catch the pokemon and i sm not able to catch the pokemon for 8 ball ,2 rides as wasted my pass after that i got ⭐✨, i try 15 ride to get 100iv , but itgetonly iv is 93😢😢

Me on the other hand got scammed with only two mega Rayquaza eggs and got nothing

Its like Niantic programed that Shiny Rayquezza specifically for Brandon as a thank you for promoting Elite Raids

Well atleast u didn't deal with what I dealt with I defeated a mega ray raid and it showed 2739 cp which is hundo cp and I freaked out but when I went to catch it was 80 cp off and it was a crappy 2 star the game forced me to get a bad iv 1 instead of the hundo
