Mega Man X1, No Power-Ups Boss Fights - Sting Chameleon
Welcome, dear friends, to the complete Maverick annihilation for Mega Man X! With these videos, I hope to dispel any rumors that certain bosses are impossible to start against. In these clips, you will see me taking on each and every Maverick with only the X-Buster. Furthermore, I won't have a single power-up to assist the fight...No Armor, no Dash Boots, no Heart or Sub-Tanks. Nothing but my skill and determination to conquer the forces of Sigma. So gaze upon your screen and watch the mighty Reploid army fall...
First up on the list is Sting Chameleon, mainly because he's one of my favorite bosses. I almost made it with any damage, but then he caught me with a C. Sting shot...Then he struck me with that tongue while on the ground(something I've NEVER seen him do before)! Oh well...Learn something new every day.

2022 still a fantastic game, I would not change one pixel. Just got my ass handed to myself by this maverick (it happened countless times in my 41 years).

Same here don't know why but I'm not as good at games like I was in my teenage years.
This fight was so hard
Impressive! Masochistic, but impressive. I couldn't beat this guy until I had most of the upgrades and the weapon he's weak against.
Nice work. I think this is the most fun way to play.
this boss is the only childhood memory i have of pure frustration
imo, the hardest Megaman X series boss to kill with no upgrades AND no charging your shot, would be Crystal Snail in Megaman X 2 ... Although, Armored Armadillo is a close second place.

I beat Armoured Armadillo with no upgrades... it wasn’t THAT hard, I’d say that the hardest in X1 is actually Boomer Kuwanger
I don't know if Sting Chameleon is the hardest maverick in Mega Man X1... but he certainly is so in Maverick Hunter X (PSP)
The funny thing is, if I might say so. About 12 days before you posted this video, I did the same thing! Small world, eh? The only difference is, I put all the boss fights together in one video...theeeeen had to promptly split it up into 4 parts. Stupid KZread size limits. Anyway... Very nice work - your skills against Sting are better than mine, I quickly concede! I played too defensively, I think...

@Vegna24 Armored Armadillo is utterly cake. His stage is pitiful, and he himself is extremely easy. Just keep shootin'
