When I was a kid I didn’t know about the hadouken upgrade. I used to finish the game over and over again and I would never guess that it was possible. Years passed and I’ve seen someone do that on KZread or read on a magazine about that. It gave me even more reasons to play again!

Everytime I see Chill Penguin fight, I feel like I'm watching a child fight with Bruce Lee.

I personally thought the version of Rangda Bangda in X5 was a lot more difficult...if only because of the spikes on the walls when the nose attacks you.

I'm not gonna lie: your skill is shown by the way you're able to time perfect moves to the theme music. That torpedo buster into the room change transition was *chefs kiss*.

That boss was called Randa Banga

@DanteReborn I do use SNES9x as I like how it does not mess with my ability to use my mouse, but as for recording, I just use Camtasia Studio to record the screen. The movie recording feature in SNES9x mutes the sound and generally has lower quality, so it is a no go for me.

@UmbreonMessiah it's for bosses she's already beaten with weaknesses or slow bosses that would make the video even longer

@MatthewDuffman She's playing on an emulator, but I'm positive the hadouken sound is on the cart. I think it's only missing from the MMXC version, which has a lot of other weird sound... "decisions."

I love this stage and the music for this. :)

Does anybody else have an advantage because they always feel like they have to run with the Y button and then they end up charging their shots which gives them more of a chance to have a mega shot while shooting your enemies even though you wouldn't expect it?

@CylusHylia I always found the Falcon Armour to be far more useful. Flying lets you avoid spikes and pits easily, and you're near invincible while doing so! The Gaia Armour felt pretty restrictive, since you can't use Maverick weapons, can't air dash, and its buster has a rather short range.

You can actually hit Chill Penguin twice with a charged flame shot, if you hit him up close.

I've always enjoyed this soundtrack. But that boss though...

@Bean1227 Certainly the most memorable of the X fortress bosses.

@DarkDialga960 They don't. You're completely immune to everything short of a pit with the charged effect going.

@Lightspeeds Definitely not... XD Not a fan of the X games after 3 whatsoever, and X6 is tricky to even do no deaths let alone no damage. Plus the Nightmare gimmicks are just horrible.

I know this is a 8 year old comment but have you heard of the tweaks project? You can make the game actually playable.

Cameleon Sting as a weakness to Rangda Bangda... That's like poking someone's eyes with a needle! And Megaman X6 no damage run...? LOL. That's pretty difficult. It does require a lot of skill and there are a lot of death spikes in there too.

The Face Boss is prolly the weirdest of the bunch, but i do like the sliding on the walls and blasting the nose concept tho.

@MatthewDuffman Well, I think your own framerate issues would have more to do with your setup than the game itself, but anyway, it sounds like she's using SNES9x, which has a feature that lets you record "movies" and export them as videos. Don't know if that's how she's actually doing it, though.

Wwwooowww..... Right about now, im pretty sure whoever was playing that, didnt have anything else to do at all, other than playing megaman on the nintendo... Dang! I could realy use some training from that player on killing them enemies that easey... Shoot!!!

the wall bosses name is Rangabanga, if I remember correctly.

I think the blue eyes you can hadouken if it gets low enough... Kinda random but doable.

@DanteReborn Then what the hell is she doing to get such a good FPS? I tried doing an LP of MMX on ZSNES and I think...CamStudio? And the recordings had a poor frame rate and ZSNES even lagged some during recording. o_o

Be honest, I don't like that you re-beat every Mavericks with hadouken. It's literally very easy to smash through the stage. I prefer re-beat them in normal ways (with X-Buster).

If you're saving Chameleon sting's energy for Rangda Bangda, Y are using it to get away from them instead of collecting energy 4 it? I know it's not guaranteed, but EVERY bit counts.

Huh...I've never heard X actually SAY Hadoken when using it. It sounded like a random blaster noise. You playing this on an actual cartridge or an emulator? I've gotten it on both and never heard that.

@darkjackl999 The fact that you cannot simply accept we have different standards and that you insist on screaming to defend someone who is a) capable of defending herself and b) has no real reason to need defending at all is just...sad, bro.

You know, I can't believe you're actually using the Hadoken. I mean, I understand it's a no-hit run (and I don't mind the chameleon sting thing. The game gives you that ability, you might as well abuse it), but the Hadoken is a secret :( Feels like cheating.
