This game is so brilliantly made that, if I didn't know it was a fan game, I would probably think it was an official game that I'd missed. The run is incredible too, so thank you, btfm and ESA.

I feel like, even tho this is a great fangame, there are some things holding it back from being the same quality as the official ones. The big ones being the boss fights, the checkpoints, and the zero fight at the end. The boss fights are nearly 100% locked to the same pattern that they repeat ad nauseum without any real AI. The checkpoint placement is downright sadistic a lot of the time (one of the checkpoints is right before a miniboss, so every time you die, you have to fight the miniboss again). That Zero fight is also something the originals would never do. They go pretty far out of their way to keep classic and X separate because the tones are so disparate. Megaman getting badly injured in an unwinnable fight against zero is just something that doesn't fit in the classic series.

This fangame was so well-made that someone accidentally used its artwork for the official MM10, I remember (laughs)

Not quite, it was used because back when this game was originally still being worked on it was titled "Mega Man 10" and Trinitro Man was even called just Nitro Man... then Capcom announced an official MM10 and some idiot just google searched for images to use for the site and found the fangame. Phil changed the names after the official one was announced

i was looking for name of this game from years. so much memory/.great game but very dificult

Quite hard, but fair. It's never hard due to bad design or lack of testing. It's also very generous with powerful equipment and weapons.

I consider this game to be the 3rd game in the Megaman Retro Revival Trilogy, with the first two being MM9 and MM10. I don't know what I'm going to do with my headcanon once MMU2 is released.

What if they made a Mega Man Ultimate where you have to fight every single Mega Man boss and stage but could keep their powers? Then have a gauntlet where by the end you have to use all of the weapons available. It would be kind of neat. Like have it to where you have to fight Woodman, Needleman, and about 3 different robot masters even at once since computer power would be able to handle fighting and processing that many.

Having the Refights have tiny levels was a stupid idea, as was the Zero fan wank which ends with mega man barely surviving. The ending kinda lowers my view of this game from the 9/10 i had been feeling playing it to a 6.5/10
