But that when one finally succumbs, the other one will stay fighting until true peace is achieved all for the sake of their brotherhood. It took Zero, Wily's masterpiece to realize Light's dream of true equality between robots and humans as well as finding the way to redeem Wily.

It's interesting too how that line also ties so well to Mega Man X due to how X and Zero in their own ways help to make Dr. Light's dream a reality, and how even if their creators were enemies and Dr. Wily had built Zero as his masterpiece to finally rule the world, Zero would become a great hero in his own way, just as Dr. Light hoped X would be a guide to humanity's future due to his not being tied to the 3 Laws of Robotics.

It's nice seeing a Young Doctah Wahwee with a full hair.

Why couldn't those illustrations be fully animated? I love that art style so much!

​@@LUCKO2022 1. If you truly want to get technical about it, "L" and "R" are interchangeable between Japanese to English translations. Plus, Dr. Light was named after Thomas Edison, the inventor of the light bulb, so that name makes just as much sense as "Dr. Right", if not more. 2. There are localized names that I despise as well, but I don't reply to every comment that uses them just to complain about it. If anything, you're going to end up doing the exact opposite of what you intended, because I could guarantee you that someone will end up using the American names purely out of spite, even if they do prefer the Japanese ones.

Yeah, there's the the main games + Bass =12. There's the 5 GB Megaman Games , and Wily Wars.And that's 18 games. I would probably count Super Adventure Rockman. *SPOILERS* But in that game, Ra Moon betrayed Dr. Wily. Since Ra Moon's goal was to keep using the humans to kill each Other to create an army and rule the planet.

Megaman is only the alias he uses in english, and his sister calls him rock in the japanese script, not rock man, and as such is using his real name, not his rock man alias in Japanese.

The US gaming market has changed significantly and I think that we've gotten to the point where the change is unnecessary. Also, yeah, Blues and Forte definitely should've been in this game. Apparently they didn't put them in because they didn't want new fans to have trouble getting a grip of the story, but, I mean, come on, do they think we're stupid? They didn't have to go in-depth with the characters, they could just say that Blues is Rock's older brother who lives on his own and that Forte is a robot built to rival Rock. All they needed to say. And when are we ever going to see Dr. Cossack again? Apparently, he created Tundra Man, but that's not the same as him making a full appearance.

Even in English it was supposed to be Rock. Mega Man is just a title the series gave to him, his name isn't Mega nor Mega Man, it's Rock, just as X from the MMX series, he isn't called Mega Man, he's called X... But it seems people don't know that very well in the west.

As far as I've seen only the Archie comics call him Rock and Mega Man and the Mega Man games always say Mega

So megaman is like the light hearted version, while megaman x is like the most serious version. In megaman, all the robot masters given a second chance, but in megaman x the mavericks don't.

Because normal robots like Mega are still restrained by the Asimov rules of robotics. X and the Reploids aren't. X is also way more powerful and if he decided to kill humans no one could stop him.

Maybe Legacy Collection like rereleases of the ZX, Legends, Zero n whatnot later down the pipeline to see if another entry is worth the hassle. Cause if the success of the Classic Collections can provoke Mega Man 11 to happen, seeing the X Collections doing fairly alright (2nd not as much as the first one) i can already see X9 in the works being more in cline with the first 4 games.

Critical acclaim doesn't always mean sales (just like good sales don't mean necessarely that a game had good reviews). Between the various consoles, the Legacy Collection of the classice series sold around 1 million, and that was what conviced Capcom to do the new game. But if the game itself won't sell that well, then Capcom won't do another game for quite a long time. When it comes to videogames, sales count.

This game could bridge the gap between Mega Man Classic and Mega Man X. Keiji Inafune debunked the Cataclysm Theory where Zero kills Mega Man now that Inafune left Capcom and made that game that is crying like an Anime fan on Prom Night Kazuhiro Tsuchiya can take that Theory and wrap up the Classic series where Zero kills Mega Man, Proto Man, Bass and Duo and Dr. Light prepares X for combat in 21XX. Also when Mega Man gets a weapon He'll change when X upgrades His Armor X looks different so It's gotta be possible that X has the Double Gear System

He gave up on it, remember? Ever since Light denied his research in entrusting robots with that much power, he vowed revenge. If humans would never allow robots to surpass them, then, like Wily said, they would never be anything more than tools with feelings. I feel like Light created X with Wily's original idea in mind, a shame Wily gave up on it and left behind Zero to punish and ruin the world that wronged him.

In a leaked design doccument for Megaman X, it's shown that Zero was originally "the baddest robot", and that the Maverick virus ironically turned him into a good person.

While the voices are really good, I really do wish Mega Man sounded younger. Having an Astro Boy sort of voice has always been my visualisation of Mega Man since he’s still a kid and all

It used to bug me too, but tbh it really doesn’t matter. He sounds young enough and the performance is good, so him sounding just slightly too old really isn’t a problem. Besides, it’s the 11th game. I think some aging up isn’t completely inappropriate.

Well, Mega Man IS based off of Astro Boy

To bad when MegaMan try to go after Wily in the Beginning. Shows the easy intro stage and boss , after the intro boss is defeated, the intro boss activates the Double Gear. MegaMan couldn't defeat it, till Dr.Light Mentions Double Gear System , then someone equips it to MegaMan then Wins. then explain the Pros and Cons about it. Just a thought.
