So, there were a few others that brought this up although sadly not as respectful as you. To be blunt, I hadn't even made that connection as I use "Mega" as a qualifier of Jackpot for those truly large Jackpots that I win, for example with Great Moai, Money Galaxy and Wonder 4 Spinning Fortunes Buffalo Gold Collection: certainly wasn't trying to be deceptive on any level though! Wow wow wow ! That’s a was just the the the most exciting bonus ever! Congratulations!That was so fun to watch! My local has this but nobody plays it much it’s so tight my hubby & I started playing & it just sucked up all our $ we finally got a couple bonuses but they were awful & we were playing dime denom. Indeed, I can still hardly believe it! And it's funny you mention, at my one local the original Fire Links seem to get played more than these new ones. Part of my thinks it's because the new ones doesn't have the base element that shakes the machine when the fireballs land: sounds silly but it really adds to the game. And of course as you imply, these I think are a bit more volatile. Thankfully I had the dream session!

@@Thebigpayback according to what I read by Kimberly Cohn, director of game development for slot supplier Scientific Games the denomination factor has no bearing except on the Mega progressive. When it resets it resets to 1 million times the denomination.

Honestly I admit it's all rather confusing to me, as what you write seems to be at odds with the game instructions, which state: "The amount wagered times the odds of winning the Mega during the feature when triggered from the Base Game is equivalent for all possible denominations." Or maybe they do jive depending on how you read it. I guess my main point was that it seems counter-intuitive that a player would be penalized in any way for betting more, ie, the more you bet proportionally it should be easier to win Progressives.

@@Thebigpayback interesting because Kimberly Cohn, director of game development for slot supplier Scientific Game commented on the game and said that in the penny version, progressives reset at $15 (Mini), $50 (Minor), $500 (Major) and the top $10,000 Mega jackpot The odds of landing that Mega-it’s larger with the larger denominations; the prize is 1 million credits times the denomination-are a very favorable one in 3.9 million. I guess it is confusing and depends on how one interprets it
