Neil, I don't want to be critical but please do some checking. I think you will find Ms Winfrey was critical of Nottingham Cottage after visiting. That's where h&m were living before their wedding and continued to live until Frogmore was refurbished for them. Oprah was in London for the wedding and I don't think she has been back so I doubt she saw Frogmore.

Oprah is a billionaire and definitely lives like it. Many in that income level are totally out of touch with the real world. Disdainful of Frogmore? Such arrogance. None of her business, either.

@DL. You are incorrect. Frogmore Cottage is a 5089 sq ft, 4 bedroom + nursery, with 4 bathrooms. Prior to the Renovations, it boasted 10 bedrooms. As it’s a 2 story home, the ‘footprint’ of the home is 5089 sq ft. If this was a single story home, it would be well over 10,000 sq ft! Try again

@@dl7596 - also Neil I am certain did a video - think it was after the mockumentary - and that, it may be that Oprah's people put out a statement - but what O meant was the Cottage was cosy - it wasn't said in a derogatory way as TW then spun it - the fact also that they were waiting for an 21 room wing of Kensington Palace to be renovated and next door to the Wales - the wing had apparently been vacated by the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester by agreement for #5 and the wife (this was shortly after their engagement).

Why should the British taxpayers, many of whom are struggling to make ends meet, have to pay for security for two people who have done nothing but denigrate them. Royal home or not, those two wanted out, let them stay out. Take the titles away and let them be private citizens.

The king and william do not want him or MM in the Windsor Estate for Privacy of the Wales family. They do not trust them not to take photos and videos to sell on. MM knew cameras are not allowed in Royal homes and palaces except on official photography, but MM broke these rules, so lost the trust of all the late queen was very upset at this.

Agree. PH is a private citizen now and not a working member of the BRF. He is a multimillionaire who can buy a home of his own and pay for his own security, just like the York Princesses. If KCIII wants to help his son financially in a private capacity, he can do that. I love that PH has been offered Buckingham Palace as a place to stay when he is in London. Plenty of security there where he can be watched all the time.

Can HW even come back to the UK? Allegedly QE II had the Royal Air Force escort her out of the country to Canada. I think this is why Harry was demanding the RF apologize to HW.

For once I agree with Meaningless - she does not want, and I do not want her, to come back to the UK. It was done a century or more ago. I grew up with Charles and Mary Lamb's Tales from Shakespeare, in fact I had a couple of copies of my own plus one of my mothers and another of my fathers. Fabulous books for a child [would have been about 7 when I first read the stories] and make Shakespeare so easy to understand at a young age. They imbued me with a true love for his work - although Cymbeline and Timon of Athens weren't exactly ones I wanted to read in the original while the tragedies - Hamlet, King Lear, M@cBeth, Othello, Romeo and Juliet - aren't exactly favourites either although I have read a number of in class at school.

Who could trust him? He likes drugs… H can buy his own house and provide his own security. Why should taxpayers or RF provide them with anything? Their in 100% or out 100%.

Well, Harry tried to shut the British court down today. He was told that he should be should arrive to the court in the morning, because possibly he should testify already today in the afternoon. Harry didn't arrive to the court in the morning. The judge was a bit "upset", because that could mean that in worst case the court could continue its work only tomorrow, since Harry should be the first to testify. Harry's lawyer told that he is not there because he arrived only today morning from the USA,, because he celebrated yesterday her daughter's birthday. Furthermore he thought that this should be accepted, since he is a special case as to the security and travel arrangements. Didn't go well down with the judge. He is such an arrogant brat.

IPP status "restored"? I was not aware he had ever had it to begin with. ? And, I thought IF he got it, each country would have to pay for his "important person" security while in that country. Not one country paying for his security team wherever he went; or am I confused? I don't believe Harry, his wife, or the invisible children deserve IPP status. They are not serving the country in which they reside--in fact the Mr. doesn't pay taxes here. The Mr. does not serve his country of birth in my opinion. "Celebraties" in this country pay their own security. Their security works with law enforcement to ensure that ( hopefully ) no one gets hurt or injuried. One of the jobs of that security is to not only insure the safety of their client(s), but to insure the safety of the public. That includes following traffic laws. They are not scientists, rock stars, psychologists, lawyers. In fact, neither one has a college degree, special skill, make no useful contribution to the world.

Of course, as long they are freeloading, not at taxpayers expense, this debacle needs to be stopped, he can never be trusted by the people he betrayed.

Only Oprah could disparage a Christopher Wren designed building, in palace grounds….I’ll just leave that there. Loved CHiPs! Good light entertainment, but it have to say I watched it for the motorbikes!😂🤣😂🤣🇦🇺💖

I think Meghan didn’t particularly like the Royal’s ability to read people’s motivations and character fairly quickly. Just like New Yorker’s it seems the English don’t take kindly to being deceived.

I agree Neil, TV producers need new ideas for shows. The reboot of Hawaii Five 0 was painful to watch. The remakes are too woke and politically correct. What is wrong with making shows that are fun to watch and no preaching!

Yes she worked for it and can spend her money how she wants. I used to like her back in the 80s. I thought the H$M interview was shameful, no fact checking. Even if she didn't ask hard questions she could have added content to show contradictions. Journalism is almost a thing of the past now. Very few stick their neck out to tell the truth.

I'm confused. If he, Harry, does what? Asks to stay at Highgrove, is given Highgrove or part of Highgrove? Why would any of this happen? After all he has said and done, he would just get a castle? Oh, you can bet your bottom dollar that if he was given a castle MM would be on the first plane to London to live in the custom she thinks she was born to live in. Queen of the Castle.

I'm a bit confused, too. I think he means H staying at Highgrove for short periods, not necessarily purchasing or renting a part of the estate. I believe Highgrove is part of the Duchy of Cornwall though, meaning William is in charge of it now, so H would have to pass the idea through his brother. I don't see M being thrilled to be "stuck" in the country, even in a gorgeous house, and she has refused to allow her children to set foot in England for her own reasons.

Highgrove is rented from William by King Charles who, understandably, didn't want to leave his home of so many decades. However I'm sure there are some castles in parts of Scotland that could be ''restored'' [would give Harry something to do in his plentiful spare time and might keep him out of the courts] and Meghan would love living in a castle - until winter struck at least. Damp and cold according to a friend who grew up in one in Germany [oddly, his mother couldn't wait to hand it over to the German equivalent of the National Trust when her husband died, and her son wholeheartedly agreed with her decision, very expensive to maintain and almost impossible to heat].

I would suggest that maybe Harry and Meghan be put up in the Tower of London.

KC3 has already offered them BP to stay in if they come to the UK. Highgrove has good memories for PW too. I'm sure PW wouldn't want the memories to be contaminated by his SIL.

M was never a “star,” even of cable TV. She played a part in a cable TV show that wasn’t widely watched. She’s only ever been a star in her imagination.

Where is Harry going to get his money from to buy such a property. And he’s not part of the working royals so why should he get security?

As a Commonwealth country person it doesn’t affect me but, if I were a UK resident, I would certainly strongly resent ever having to pay for his security or him being accommodated in a crown residence. It was re Nottingham cottage that Oprah allegedly remarked she “couldn’t believe how small” it was. However wouldn’t put it past Megaliar manipulating this comment in the doco so that it appeared to refer to Frogmore. Still amazed at her temerity and rude ingratitude in publicly referring to the SA High Commissioner’s mansion as a housing unit

Give him Angela Kelly's old home on the Windsor Estate...and don't remodel it for him. Also, while in any of his father's homes, or on the Crown Estates, provide a constant "handler" for Harry so that he minds his manners and behaves in relation to any self-destructive habits. (Don't reward him with any access to the much grander Highgrove...without his father being present there.)

Thus, with a change of mind, I recommend giving Angela Kelly back her Windsor pad, and moving Harry to her new home, which is likely nicer, anyway. Provide it to him for life, unfurnished and unchanged, but ONLY IF: he signs an NDA; gets alcohol/substance abuse rehab (first in hospital, then, outpatient); and agrees to have a minder with him (24 hours/day outside hospital), for his own protection and that of others. The above suggestions, and recommendations, seem so much more adequate and fair, don't you think, Lady Paddington?

Why would he get the security if it is his own private home? Andrew lost his security and he's living within the royal grounds at the Royal Lodge. Granted there would be security in the grounds, but his personal security is now paid for by King Charles apparently. If Harry buys a place it would not be in royal grounds, so no automatic security there and since he is not a working royal, no personal security either. I don't understand this at all?????

Because you are correct and this was a bit of a misleading article. Highgrove will have security because it was the home of the heir and now the monarch and it is his residence. Clarence House, the same as with Balmoral and Sandringham. If the Harkles were to buy a random house in the middle of nowhere I don't believe that they would automatically get armed security as a result otherwise they would have done it.

@@user-jojo29 I think Balmoral and Sandringham only have full security when the family are living there. Otherwise they will be well ''guarded'' by those who live and work on the estates and know them inside out - and any strangers would be noticed as well.

@@musicandbooklover-p2o Totally agree, when RF are in residence at any of their homes (and they have a lot), full security will be there, but more a skeleton security if not in residence. Most of the royals homes are on royal ground (so to speak) so there is security on these grounds at all times. Either way, Harry's house would have to be on royal ground to have security, but he will still have to pay for his personal security himself, unless KC pays for his too.

@@user-jojo29 I know whenever the royals are in residence at any of their homes, the security is full on, but reduced when they are not in residence. So Harry would have to buy a house on royal grounds to get the security that covers the grounds, but he will still have to pay for his personal security, unless his Father opts to pay that for him in the same way he does for Andrew. However, Harry seems to be looking elsewhere so he wouldn't get security at all as he is not a working royal. Thank you for agree with me.

@@cocojo2356 Balmoral and Sandringham are private but I get your drift. The Met won't have security on those properties when no one is in residence but equally the staff will keep an eye on things and, being in the country, there will be shotguns enough should they be needed, and the police on call in Norwich or Kings Lynn for Sandringham, not sure about Balmoral though.

We do not want them back here, thank you. She was removed from the country on our wonderful lare Queen's orders and that should be enough to keep her away from our RF and the UK itself.

Most people don’t want Harry back in the Uk and if any of our taxes go towards his accommodation, security etc there will be hell to pay. CHARLES - take note!!!

Agree completely. I'd be happy if neither of them ever set foot in the UK ever again!

I would think the King and Queen might have a few thoughts on that idea.

I think it lessons their taxes in the US to have property in the UK. They lost that when they lost Frogmore

Yes. It lowers their tax they pay in US if they have a property in UK.

My flat has just about 50 square meters. Frogmore is like the palace of Versailles to me. BTW I can only sleep in ONE bed, I can only use ONE bathroom at any given time. Any additional room is more than I need.

We do not care to see Harry back in the UK permanently. I was hoping he would see out the court cases and go home to the USA.
