I remember reading an article back in the 1980's in a bmx magazine talking about how insurance companies made bmx tracks eliminate double jumps and jump angles that sent bmx racers high in the air and change the angles to where they shoot you forward instead of high because of injuries like what this video is showing with this crash. This bmx track shows you why it is dangerous.

good thing the first rider still had his helmet on when he crashed onto the dirt ramp, the 2nd rider went str8 to his head, then BOOM front flips! KO to the max.

@ismokemadJs if that was a serious question, clip pedals and you wear special shoes for it so u get more spin and obviously by his front flip, they don't come off

@ismokemadJs he had clips on. clips are basically a clip on your pedals and clips on your shoes. it helps your rhythm and helps you pedal fast. the only way to clip out is to move you fet to the side in a pivot motion. i have clips of my own and ive fallen before it doesnt feel good. also they are pretty hard to clip out in mid air.

The two flippers wers clipped in but the last one wasn't and kicked the bike away. That is by far the craziest crash I've seen.

@Joshjoss idk if you've ever raced before but from personal experience wen u crash and relize ur ok adrenaline takes over and all you care about is crossing the finish line. ESPECIALLY at the worlds.

Thats why I never rode clips when I was racing cause if you crash which was soooo unexpected in BMX the bike stays with you cause your feet are clipped in I'd rather ride brakless
