I really like this set! I love the grunts a ton, the spartan is super great, and I love the ghost! I do have a few problems though. My first is the gimmick with the blasters, because when they are down, you can’t lay it on flat ground and move it like old ghosts using the clear semi circles. My seconds problem is the fact that the brute doesn’t have 2 knee plates, I’m fine with the one shoulder, but we should of gotten another knee pad, and it wouldn’t of cost a ton of money. Still a great set and I can’t wait for more! (P.s. I bought 2 of these and I didn’t even know it was supposed to come with mark 7, I thought it came with the fj/para shoulders)

I pretty sure that the reason the brute only has one thigh armor is because of how it is in the game. Remember these are based off the games and not the mega design team.

The gimmick is definitely not the same as just sliders but it's an interesting idea and works fairly well. The Brute with only one leg armor is something they've been doing a lot for some reason. And yes the box shows MK 7 shoulders but Mega has said that's a misprint

I have two already (As of typing this) and I probably will get more.

I had the same shoulders for my anubis. Also had the same over-marbling issue with his legs. Personally, I still like the figure because he lined up nicely with the recon from the banshee and the mk-7 from the skiff. The ghost itself left a lot to be desired imo. Mega has made some very nice ghosts in the past. They could’ve added some more prints like maybe a control console or engines or something. I do however love that I can get that brute with the red shoulder since I have still not been able to find the mercenary combat unit set (or the marine one for that matter) also who doesn’t love grunts!

It seems Mega misprinted the box with the wrong shoulders. It's a mixed bag of a set, but in the end, I think it's definitely worth the purchase

Regarding the shoulder pads for Anubis, I belive Mega confirmed that it was a misprint on the box or something like that. But yeah the shoulders on the box are a mistake.

Why are some of the sets underbuilt? Like in some areas some of the sets look unfinished

Most likely to save money to make them be able to put so many figures in the set

It's very generous of mega to include so many figures in this kind of price range, but figures shouldn't mean a compromise to the build.

Yeah I don't think it outranks the Recon set

dont have the set, but ive heard from a lot of people who bought it that they got the wrong shoulders

I just put my 6yr olds set together and I couldn't figure out what to do with the orange piece.

Usually, if there's a random orange piece, it's just a special extra thing. It can be quite confusing.

I was at Big Lot's today and they had this set for $15

A bit late but I just opened my ghost set and had the same occurrence with the Anubis spartan: Reach shoulders, Legends Chief/Fred/Mk 6 lower arms and leg armor. Definitely odd but I remember something similar happened before with some older sets. Specifically the elite in the Halo Wars 2 Banished Banshee came with Zealot shoulder armor instead of commander armor, and the Hellbringer in the HW2 Wolverine set had the wrong lower legs (came with Mk4 legs instead of the specific hellbringer ones). Aside from that I think it's a great set and might get a couple more for the parts and figures

I'm pretty sure all the HW2 Hellbringers have MK IV legs and not the Hellbringer specific legs. Those come mostly with newer style ones. Still as long as it isn't a terrible glaring change, and the fig still looks good, it's not so bad.
