Meeting Their Sister For The First Time! | HAUSOFCOLOR

I love the love the boys have for their little sister! They loved her when she was in my belly and they’re even more in love with her now! They’re so protective of her already and my heart melts every time they look at her!

The boys need their separation time just like adults do. It’s tough when mommy can’t go out but daddy can take the older kids out then to get fresh air even if it’s just to the supermarket

The Father of my Children taught me to teach them to love one another. Have them get along. Play with them together. Give hugs. Teach them to help one another. It's work but it should be worth it. Love you LV!

When I was pregnant with my second toward them end my son changed... he was super aggressive toward me, then when she was born his obsession with daddy got even worse, he loves her to bits but when it comes to daddy he doesn’t share. 1:1 time with daddy/ mommy with each boy. Constant reminders to be gentle and share. Punishment and rewards. Time out to think about actions. Ice cream / treats when we behave, etc. you’re doing amazing and remember they’re going through tons of changes and the mental ones are the hardest to see but trust they’re going through it. xoxo!

Hey many congratulations on the birth of your baby girl. She is gorgeous!😍 Your family is so cute now an added addition. ADVICE: In regards to the boys I would try separating them till they both calm down, give them something to do so they are both distracted, maybe doing big brother chores. Try a Sticker Chart which is really effective on young kids. Every-time they are good they get a sticker etc. If they can go run around at least once a day that would allow them to use up the nervous energy. I hope all this helps you and you rest and heal up soon. Tackling it all is the real challenge after a birth I've had 5! But you're a gr8 mum, keep up the great work! Love from the UK!😍

Congratulations 🎉 on your little one! Sophia💕 The advice part...currently I’m using the Time out method on my twins. I pick somewhere where there is no fun and stick to that spot. Once in time out, I wait for about 3 minutes to start & increase time if needed. Just be consistent with the time outs. You will see a raise in behaviors but then they will diminish. I’ve been doing this for a month now & my twins now know that time out is not a fun place to be so behaviors usually stop right away now. I hope this helps!!

HONEYLENSS TV unfortunately, timeout doesn’t work on my kids... they obviously hate it and apologize and then go back to fighting again ☹️

Do you think you can make a video detailing Vietnamese’s postpartum traditions and customs? I’m giving birth in July and would love to know more about my own culture. Both my parents passed away when I was young and I have no living Vietnamese relatives here in America so I know very little but would love to honor my culture’s postpartum traditions. 😊

Less time with Mommy makes cranky boys. It will pass , I've had similar experience:) so many changes at once is all

Yes..Changes are hard on the little ones, especially with the addition of a new baby..It is funny how they can love 💕 on the new baby but fight with their other siblings...similar like it’s a competition (reminds me of the “Hunger Games”)..lol.. I have a 4- month- old, who my toddler adores, but he will fight and attack his older sister (16yrs.)..🤷🏽‍♀️..they just need an outlet or a way to release their frustration..Try having your husband take them out for activities until u recover and bond/spend that quality time with ur new little girl.. but, (if you are not doing this already) also give them attention individually by doing little things (e.g., reading a story, cuddling before bedtime, or even coloring) until you are able to really be active. Your little girl is soo adorbs.❤️

The best tip for two kids fighting is to separate them and tell them you will put them in the corner, or tell them they won’t get new toys. That always works for mines. Also no Target runs.

My twin boys fight all the time their 5 and basically what i do is seperate them for a couple hours let them cool off then they'll be ok for a while. It ends up happening again but it sometimes gets easier to control and calm them down hopefully the boys will be good

When my two boys fight i would distract them with something or some toys...anything that was not the subject matter of the fight...and then when they have calmed down i would talk to them and that fighting is bad etc. It never works to try to reason with two cranky upset kids
