Thanks! I absolutely loved conducting this interview.
At the beginning of the interview, jReg jokes that his real name is "Anthony". In his "My Secret To Productivity" video, towards the end, he says he's a PhD and shows a jpeg of "Anthony Guevara" having a degree in "Mental Healthism". So, maybe there's some long running meta-joke shit going on (or maybe that's actually his name?)
@meneertommy8690

just so you know it is entirely possible to reshape not only the structure of your internal dialogue but also the content, messaging, connotations and feeling of it. If you like yours, keep it, but if it's negative (and you dislike that), messy, critical, lacking focus or otherwise dissatisfying it absolutely is possible to change it. You wouldn't consider your bicep to be an intrinsic part of yourself, you'd consider it to be a muscle which grows or shrinks reflective of how you use it and your lifestyle. Your mind is the same. It's not easy at all though. Just wanted to say that because a lot of people don't realize there's a complete disconnect between you and your thoughts,
@mysteryblondee

you're so right! I meant this more as a semi-joke; however, your comment has really made me reflect on the whole concept of internal dialogue and the mind :) thank you!@@TheInfectous
Jreg is the dude who is so self aware he holds 10 different contradictory ideas and identites of himself simultaneously and doesnt know which one he really believes, which one is really real/genuine. Thats the way i relate to and interpret his content. And he makes really cool werid connections and demonstrates them in a cool way that makes sense somehow without having to think about it for hours on end. He organizes the weird disjointed shit we think about but never bother to fully realize, and expresses and realizes them in a cool way. It resonates with me a lot. I think it really perfectly preserves the weird ambiguous nature of that whole thing, you wanna write smth down it becomes concrete sometimes, expressing and organizing ideas for some ppl tempts ypu to make up your kind. But thats when you lose the interesting novel ambiguous nature of it. Its super subjective but tries very hard to contain everything simultaneously which is what i think of what i imagine as objective, if i have to do that.

it's cool seeing someone normal talk to this guy for once.
This man is capable of being normal, he just prefers to not act normal bc its easier, it doesnt establish any expectations so he can never worry if hes meeting any, at least thats what im projecting onto him bc its also smth i relate to. You never commit to smth and identify w it, because that establishes norms and expectations that you can fail to meet, even if its a werid marginal identity, it still has norms that define it.

Since y'all told me to go transmaxxing, I'll share my experience. Personally, whenever I realize I'm attracted to something in a man, I also realize that I got no rizz, and am hella shy and awkward. So then I try to teach myself those attractive traits. Same thing goes for when I think another woman is better at being a woman than me. Thing is, though, maxing yourself doesn't replace relationships. Even if you don't need no man, you're still going to feel like your efforts are kind of purposeless if you're not sharing the outcome with anyone else

this kinds plays into how men and women are just sorta constructs we percive. You see no reason why someone of a different construct should not be studied from. And others would argue men are men and women are women and thats not a construct and I'd tell you to like, uh this is youtube im not gonna say that, but your wrong they're what you percive them as. Sure sex is a thing but trans people who pass prove sex does not determine if they're percived as a man or women.

As a jreg fan I assure Serene that i have very normal left of center opinions. I mean I'm an incel, secessionist, anti-globalization localist, influenced by the technocratic ideas of radical centrists and I'm nonbinary and support trans rights, but don't believe in psychiatric diagnoses. I have normal political opinions like: we should abolish peer review from the scientific process, or secularism should be abolished (im an atheist btw), or we should use industrial policy to gradually move away from animal agriculture through what one might call a "vegan new deal." I think echo chambers are a positive development in political discourse, and I strongly support the rights of brothers and sisters to have sex with one another freely, who does it hurt really? You'll see me in the news one day when i help make Liquid Democracy a national movement

Why did you think he had to keep repeating out loud that online extremism was terrible? Nah, Ottawa is actually the worst. John Reginald was actually quite right when he said it was filthy.
Hey, Pentecost is the Greek name for the festival Shavuot, Pentecost means fiftieth- because of fifty days since the Passover. Eventually Christians just measured the date from Easter instead, since the events surrounding the Passion week were during the Passover. Christians celebrate Pentecost because the New Testament testifies how Jesus told his disciples to remain in Jerusalem until they receive the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of God that moved upon the face of the waters from the Bereshit.) The Acts of the Apostles record how this happened with tongues as of fire resting over the disciples’ heads and speaking in “tongues” where Jews from Rome or Africa or Persia heard an illiterate Galilean fisherman speaking in their language. For Christians this is the birth of the Church. If you’d like you could read Acts chapter 2, it might be interesting from a Jewish since Saint Peter in his sermon references the prophecy of Joel and the prophetic Psalms of David. Also, do Jews call the names of the Scriptures by their Hebrew names or by the English counterparts? Like would you call the Psalms the Tehillim or the Psalms? And does the Talmud have equal divine authority as the Tanakh?
you can tell the stimulants are eating his ego from the inside out
