“(July 1998) The night before my very first assignment as a Raccoon City S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team Officer. These are the moments I will remember for the rest of my life, all of my hard work studying medicine along with passing basic combat training and the S.T.A.R.S. Exam, have paid off for me in the end. It’s still a bit difficult to come to the realization that I’m officially an Officer on what is probably one of the most elite special task forces I have ever known, beyond the regular Detectives and RPD’s Swat Teams, handling only the most confidential of cases. In retrospect I have been an Officer for several months as of now, but, sometimes it takes time for things to really set in your mind in this life. It’s mind blowing stuff when I think about it, never in my wildest did I think that I would get this opportunity, to help bring justice to my community here in Raccoon City. Although I’m truly honored to be with the Raccoon City Police Department, according to them I’m their youngest recruit they have ever accepted onto the force in the history of the department itself, I can’t help feeling sorrowful about the recent events that have been taking place here in town. We have been investigating these bizarre murders on the outskirts of town, interviewing eye witnesses, and working with the other members of Alpha Team to help solve this madness. In addition to talking with members of the Press who seem all to happy to leak anything they can find which really makes me mad, granted the general public have every right to now what’s going on and it’s past the point of wanting answers from us, I just wish they weren’t so hungry to release their findings so fast to the people. The small town is already in a state of deep fear, confusion, anger, and suspicion about this whole case. We don’t want them to cause a panic amongst each other, I feel trying to contain our evidence away from the prying hands of the Raccoon Press and the overall morale of our people, are often one in the same. It got the point where we had to have a huge Press Conference, held by RPD Police Chief Brian Irons along with his Secretary who’s name escapes me, with all of these journalists to be extremely careful when reporting the news to the public about the recent events here. They never learn, which makes me glad to know that as of tomorrow, the Bravo Team is being sent into the location where the heart of these horrific murders and missing persons cases seem to have originated from the start. A place that will surely be several weeks worth of investigation due the vast scale of the area and surrounding grounds, a place that many here in the town had come to know as a place of peace and recreation, the Raccoon Forest. Most of the ripped up bodies that we were able to find were found out there, covered in blood and bite marks, with some being so bad we needed dental records to properly identify them for their loved ones in town. I’m ready for whatever or whoever is out there, even if my insides are screaming myself, I can’t falter and must be strong for the people of Raccoon City. Justice must come strong and swift to these killers. I know in my Heart that we will bring them down, one way or another, and in time all of this will be like a fading distant memory of Raccoon’s proud and humble history. Tomorrow everything changes....(S.T.A.R.S. You are by far the best music channel I have happened to stumble across so far this year. Everything you have made so far his left me completely mesmerized. I've been recommanded your channel by youtube after watching tons of RE2 clips cause I'm too scared too play the game. I'm also a synthwave fan so huge discovery I did there. The nailed synthwave cover with the dreamy vhs visuals make it a perfect mixture for a neon trip.
