Charlie is simply like saying YO, or BUDDY, when Americans address each other,, and men use the Charlie to address each other, more than women do in Ghana. Here is an explanation for the differences in mentality when it comes to some women/men in the motherland and some women/men in the West - slavery and the breakdown of the family structure.
