I can vouch for that. Jackson is a dear friend and I’ve seen him interact closely with many fans over the years.

Just proves that Jackson is the coolest dude on the planet. ✌️

I would have loved to have met Jackson in my lifetime. I have loved everything about him since i was a teenager, now 67. His music is always my favorite. I did see him a few times, 78 and 04. Seems like so long ago and other times like yesterday. Every song is perfect. You know when it's Jackson for sure. I love that man, and i feel blessed to have been graced to hear his wonderful music during my life.

I totally agree with you and for me at 64 now I have seen him perform at least 3 shows or 5 but it is always his grace and easy words with haunting melodies that will always endear him to myself and my philosophy/ spiritual journey... a kindred spirit...THANK YOU for this special off the record moment !!!

Almost 70 here.....been listening to Jackson Browne for over 50 years.....and my name is Jack Brown.....and have been called Jackson by many friends....am honored.......

66 here and I am with you on your take of JB as an artist and man.

He has been the friend in my head & the soundtrack to my life for 45 years. He pulled me through teen angst and joyous times as well. His lyrics are rare beautiful masterpieces with magical melodies. My favorite is Fountain of Sorrow. Listening is like being wrapped in a warm fuzzy blanket. He is my muse. ❤

If there’s a mortal man I’d give anything to meet and thank for saving me on so many occasions in this life I’ve lived, it is Jackson Browne.

Since I was 14. 67 now. If only...saw him twice. Even went in a wheelchair while waiting for knee replacement . May God keep you and you and your family and band always ❤. I probably won't ever meet Mr Browne ,but that is the way I would anticipate he would be if I did .....a generous , accommodating ,decent and friendly artist gentleman of the highest order . It kinda goes without saying .. doesn't it ?

Well yes i met Jackson when he was in a garage band just starting out in Fullerton, Ca (Sunny hills). My friend and i were 14 and Jackson was 15 we met him on the way to Knotts Berry Farm we stopped in a Thrifty's for an ice-cream cone there he was not yet famous but in just a few years all would change. Then again after many concerts seeing him i once again fast forward to around 2011 at a meet and greet at Amoeba Records Hollywood would again face to face and a shake of the hand we met. I got two autograph vinyl albums a poster a guitar pick form the drummer who was a super nice guy see i was the first on the seen in Amoeba he noticed that and said obviously your a fan so an original guitar pick i received, pretty cool! Yes might just be Jackson's biggest fan going back to when he was with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in the late 60's running around Long beach, Ca.

Beautiful, tears in my eyes. Cut to a nice obscure tune too. Of course I know I'm Alive and Too Many Angels but honestly never heard this one. Touching moment between great fans and and a gentleman.

Years ago, I was in driving and "Take It Easy" was on the radio. My friend said "That's JB". I said, "No he co-wrote it, but it's the Eagles singing." My friend said "No, not the radio, the guy on his bicycle next to us". We were in Santa Monica, so it probably was him.

Thanks for this candid and cool video. It depicts Jackson projecting the same presence he did when we met him backstage near Indianapolis in 1994. He was low key but interested in conversing. He was generous with his time. I asked him if there was a new artist I should listen to - he recommended Ben Harper (who had just released his first record). A very thoughtful and inspiring recommendation!!

Seems like a nice man. Love his tunes, always have.

When I met Jackson, we sat next to each other at a _Foreigner_ concert. He sat on my left, and the stage was to our right. I was only 14 years old. All of a sudden, in a roach clip, he passed a joint to me. To myself, I said… _”My Dad’s gonna kill me… my Dad’s gonna kill me…”_

not a member of any. I hung out with him in his dressing room alone with a friend of mine after a show in Rockford IL this same year as this video above. Cool time for sure.

Boy I forgot about that. A few nights later we saw him again in Michigan and the same guy had a bunch of albums for him to sign and Jackson remembered this meeting and kind of schooled him. Seemed to piss the guy off, but hey thats life.

Saw Jackson Browne in concert in Charlotte back in the 1980s. Awesome concert and very talented. Did not get to meet him but your video attests to him being a very grounded down to earth nice guy. Can't say that about all celebrity musicians. Met Al Barr and Ken Casey after a Dropkick Murphys concert in Myrtle Beach. Awesome concert and Al Barr was very nice, but Ken Casey was a total jerk. Casey doesn't appreciate DKM fans who have seen many of their concerts, has all their CDs, and all their T-shirts tour memorabilia. Ken Casey should take a lesson from Jackson Browne and try to become a nice person !
