Its true that Schumacher actually is the Stig. After Rubens beat the Stigs time in 2010, Schumi tried to put Barrichello in the wall the following week in Hungary at 300km/h.
Eddie is the best. I like his honesty. In the series Drink with Eddie Irvine you actually understand that he's more then the cocky guy that Senna punched.
It's 95. Both Rubbens and Irvine drove for Jordan in 95. Irvine is dressed in Jordan T-shirt. He went to Ferrari the following year
That Eddie guy looks so down to earth..
"Why doesn't F1 bring glamour to Northampton?" "Because it RAINS a lot in Northampton!" Good old Mika
Makes sense that that video is from 1995 or earlier because you can notice that Mika definitely speaks faster here than he did post Adelaide.

never the same after that crash sadly, when i saw how hard his head moved, i was for sure he was coming out braindead.

I think it's also getting older, he might have started mellowing out and maturing earlier than most people. Coulthard also seems to speak faster in this video than he does when presenting channel 4 F1 nowadays and he's not had any major accident.

That and Ruben’s and eddie
Classic Eddie Irvine
Eddie is a fucking boss, he just wants a pint
Coulthard is wearing Senninha's T Shirt. Senninha was a comic character idealized by A. Senna to influence kids in a good way, using the sport he was in. Pretty great thing Coulthard is wearing it, says much about him, but puts this video awfully close to 1994.
You rock Irvine, nice going man, grew some balls and told them like it is... if only more influencial pple were like you. ups 4 u
Mika Hakkinen had agreat sense of humour. A lot of people never saw his personality in his latter career.
david looks so young

That's because he was 24 at the time, LOL.
I'm sure Eddie has much bigger slice of world's money nowdays!
LOL coulthard was a little kid there! Althought he had already that huge squared head LOL
wow, Rubens was so young!!!
I started to discover DC more about 2 years ago, and he is great. Of course I heard about him when he entered the F1 with Williams but did not care too much about him. Anyway, I think becoming a fan of Vettel is a better option as he has a very good sense of humor, he is down to earth and comparing to Weber he will win races and even WDC.

You were right about the WDC!
thanks for the upload! love seeing the drivers back then....
DC looks so young
loved hakkinen when i was younger
Doesn't Eddie Irvine live in Monaco now?
Lol at Eddie! And Mika rocks!!
@yanava i noticed that.... this has to be very early... my guess would be 1995... Coulthard didnt race at Monaco 94, Williams only ran Hill's car.. only a guess
The first interviewee is a young David Coultdouche isn't it?
Classic!
how come the bloody ad plays straight away yet i have to wait for the video ..... come on youtube sort it out !!!!!!!!!!
Go on Eddie Irvine's Instagram now and he has enough portion now lol
@Marcus666Sund I think what he meant is that Irvine (unusually in corporate F1) speaks his mind, so he confuses that for a realistic grip on the world.
check out jezzas hair :P
hi... what video or tv programme is this clip from?
Didn’t Irvine end up moving to Monaco later? Also his comment at the end of the video is pretty funny when you think how rich he eventually became!😆
This is great, when was this actually shown on BBC, was hakkinen champion yet?

No. Was driving his fifth season in the sport. Was yet to win a race.
Hence the Title: Jeremy Clarkson's Motorworld
LOL at the youngness
@swiftshady Irvine's comment was the best. I was laughing. You are right, the millions he earned with Formula 1 should be enough. Since he stopped Formula 1 he became a successfull businessman and still is earning a good pay every year. He has no lack of money.
@BBCWorldwide You've still spelt his first name wrong I'm afraid...
Barrichello didnt have wrinkles back then, wow.
good god that hair, Clarkson!!! 1999...I was....11 years old......and Clarkson stole Howie Mandel's hair!

this isnt 1999. this is 94 or 95
Haha, have an interview on a treadmill
could've been 1994 aswell then
Wat is Irvine talking about im sure he has more than enough money seeing what F1 drivers have been getting paid in recent years

Replying to an old comment seems dumb but here I am. Eddie Irvine was a millionaire before he even got to F1, doing real estate deals and such, he still does and has made far more money out of racing than while he was racing. That says a lot because at one point in time he was Fords highest payed employee, even more that the CEO.
@montanhaf100 This piece of footage is 15 or so years old.... lol
So it must of been around 96-97?

eddie irvine is the only 1 normal in this vid
Look at Coulthard. Looks like a 13 old child.
That's cause he's Finnish.
Coulthard could kick dragos arse haha.
The f1 driver looks like a skinny version of drago from rocky 4.
Mika Hakkinen is the best.
haha news report in March 2011 Put Eddie Irvine as the richest F1 driver of all with something like 170million (property investments)

This has a whiff of Alan Partridge about it
@odracirseraoseia1999 He has a great and normal thinking
$100 a day means u make about $3000 a month, $36000 a year. not too bad i would say?
nope
