    It feels weird to say, but it took this interview to realise that Matthew Vaughn, for me personally, is on a level with Edgar Wright and Sam Raimi. I already know before going in that I'm gonna LOVE the movies they each make. Like, I still haven't seen everything ANY of those three have made, but I just fucking love everything I HAVE seen.

    When they say "let's have some fun here..." Importantly, the fans should be 'trained' to embrace that idea, like what the ambition brings for them. If plan is left to 'film making/writers vision' alone, it's okay - but, a 'plot guide' 🤨could perhaps, help for a successful outcome for both producers *and* fans I guess!

    I freaking love Days of Future Past. To me there’s no way Singer came up with that film. To me Matthew made that film and Singer came and took the credit. Yes Singer did a wonderful job with X1 and X2 but DOFP to me felt Matthew’s genius ideas in the film.

  • @DanV900

    @DanV900

    5 ай бұрын

    I mean 85% of the story for DOFP was from Matthew Vaughn before he moved onto Kingsman. Bryan Singer and Simon Kinberg’s big contribution to the story was switching Juggernaut breaking out Magneto to Quicksilver. That was a great idea and worked well. Matthew Vaughn did not make the film though. Bryan Singer did direct it.

    I heard about Argylle getting a lot of hate, but it looks too ridiculous to not have fun with. Reminds me of Kingsmen and Harley Quinn in their best ways. Not everything has to be super serious.
