John Grisham is such a compelling speaker. I could watch him talk all day. One can't say that about most novelists.

At last! I saw the author of the books that I am fond of reading. I've read the following books: The Client, The Chamber, The Streetlawyer, The Firm, The Pelican Brief and presently I have a book to read, The Confession. I am collecting books of John Grisham. Long life John!

I liked the interview quite a bit. He does a huge amount of research on his topics and molds that research into a fasinating account. Its almost first hand. Wouldnt it be great if the prosecutors and judges put as much research into condemning people as John Grisham does. I read this book and it was another good one by Grisham. I say way to go !!!

To get up on a soap box means to "preach" on some subject--usually controversial--that you have strong feelings about, and that you are trying to convince your persuade your audience to share your view. I think the term comes from the days when people would go to the town square and literally get up on a soap box and deliver a speech to passersby.
