At 30 knots each burns 60 litres an hour, rising to 220 litres per hour at 40 knots ($900/hour in fuel burn for all 5 engines at today's prices). The engines cost $90,000 each retail, considerably less when you're buying 5 at once.

That is such a beautiful boat. I love the clean gaugeless console.

@@scdevon where did you come up with 80 each? Do you know that's what they burn, or you guessing? Sounds way high to me. I would guess about 160 for all of them at 3/4 throttle, but I could be wrong

@@davo85iz0 I was going by this test. boatingnz.co.nz/articles/power-to-thrill-7-marine-627s/ A pair of 627s on a 35 ft Everglades. 220 liters per hour each at 40 knots. Not an apples to apples test, but the proportions shouldn't be far off. 70 gallons an hour x 5 = ~350 gph. Fuel consumption seems to rise at insane rates with increased speed. At full throttle, it seems like all bets are off.

My 300 Mercury verado gets 32 gph at wide open throttle. So yeah. I'm sure this thing is drinking fuel like a top fuel dragsters. Might as well call it a fuel barge . Lol

The fact that is not inboard is what makes it more appealing...but i would prefer 4 engines instead of 5

HCB is old Hydrasports boats look at suenos 53 and add 12 ft and another $750000 to price probably 30 gal a hour each motor 150 total roughly JT

I'll never be able to afford such a vessel, so I ask this out of pure curiosity...but what good is that much horsepower on a hull that can only do 55mph when the best you're gonna do fuel wise 148 gph? With a couple of inboard turbo-diesels you could probably double or triple the range and still cruise fast enough to get where you need to go. I can appreciate that anyone with the money thinks nothing of it, but is there any practical point to this?

Lots of Tailweight needs lots of Payload. Perfect für Narcos. Maybe a Gasguzzler but in a sort of business just a matter of auxillary tank sets.

You could have a 60 foot flybridge yacht and live in luxury with every commodity on board You could have a 60 foot sports yacht and be open to the elements, close a door and push a button and be encapsulated in the finest materials for your good nights sleep...and still travel fast Why this? No usable bathing platform and no space for your tender, unpractical and yet no less expensive
