It’s really interesting to hear the person behind the voices, it’s really good to see and hear people doing jobs like this especially for people like me who are blind and visually impaired, but also for people who just love a friendly voice because most people these days are not very polite, so it’s always good to hear a friendly voice in the subways or the airport, these voice actors are doing a great service for us especially for people with special needs.

I really want to be the new voice of NYC Subway announcements by voice over artist.

I heard her voice saying the local time every half hour while waiting in Charlotte airport

Here is one line from her voice that I don’t forget (Hello passenger’s the next L train is now riding on the Rockway parkway bound track please stand away from the platform edge we want you to be safe so pls stand away from the yellow strip)

Somehow every time I still hear she said 33rd (Court Square) rather than 23rd.

Being a full time voice actor is pretty awesome. Not gonna lie. It does come with drawbacks though. Vitamin D deficiency...LOL I quit my 20 year job as a Nabisco salesman 6 years ago to do VO full time. Best decision I have ever made.

What about the person behind the voice: "Stan Clear of the closing doors please?" And the announcement: "This is Woodlawn bound 4 Train" And "This is 34 street Hudson Yards/ Flushing-Main Street bound 7 Train"?

Stand clear of closing doors is charlie pellet. The other ones do not have their identitys revealed at all, but they are real voices too look up charlie pellet though

Pretty much all IND/BMT (B-Division) lines, except the A, C and F lines, and B-Division shuttles are voiced by that women. Some announcements on the IRT (A-Division) are done by her aswell. Oh, and it is actually Catherine Cowdery, not Carolyn Hopkins.

It's Catherine Cowdery who voices the lines on the BMT/ the B, D, E, G, J, L, M, N, Q, R, V(now eliminated), W, Z, and 7(partial) trains, not Carolyn Hopkins. GOOFY 7868 That would be Kathleen Campion, and not Dianne Thompson. However, some might say it's Dianne Thompson, but it's really Kathleen Campion, which I searched her on you tube video. Also, no real identity revealed of Kathleen yet. Who knows?

Carolyn Hopkins doesn't even voice the announcements in the subway. The real voice of the subway is Catherine Cowdery who voices the 7, B, D, E, G, J, L, M, N, Q, R, W, and Z trains. Get your facts straight CBS!

Why does the buses have a different voice? I don’t like the computerized voice on the buses. Have her voice the buses too
