Meet the Rastas at Bobo Hill in Jamaica! 🇯🇲
Bobo Hill is home to the Bobo Shanti, or Bobo Ashanti, House of Ras Tafari. Known for their peaceably militant interpretation of Marcus Garvey’s teachings, the Bobo have been popularized by many dancehall artists who proclaim an affiliation. Paramount to Bobo philosophy and lifestyle are the ever-present themes of self-confidence, self-reliance, and self-respect.

Yes!! Bobo Livity uplifted my journey in Life !! Give Thanks Rastafari ❤
Great ambassador, open doors always. One love ❤
It should be noted that Bobo is the most strict/militant/dogmatic of all the houses of Rasta. It should also be noted that H.I.M. Haile Selassie granted land for whoever wishes to repatriate physically back to Mama Africa. Place is called Shashamane. ❤ 💛 💚Blessings&Love ❤ 💛 💚
In the sixties a number of plane loads of these Rasta was granted citizens of Eatiopia! So if you ever travel to Eatiopia visit the Jamaican community there!
Blessed love😍blessings one love😍rastafari

This video is a wonderful tribute to the beauty and richness of Jamaican culture, and to the many people who have dedicated their lives to living according to the principles of Rastafarianism. It's a powerful reminder that there is much we can learn from other cultures, and that by opening ourselves up to new experiences and ideas, we can become more compassionate, more empathetic, and more connected to the world around us. one love Chris Must List

I wouldn't say beauty and richness, more like freakish and cultish. These are not mainstream Rasta and certainly racism and preaching violence against LGBT is not blessed by Jah. 👎🏾
Absolutely Luv this video. .. Jah Bless and Guidance. . Great video ChrisMust
Love this video and all the great info that came because of it!
One more nice and beautiful video. More life and blessings Chris must ❤️💛💚👍💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Every one and their thoughts and principles..That's why the world rolls...Beautiful collab.
My only comment on this video is that to understand what was shared, you have to take yourself out of the equation and look at it from the context. Forcefully taken from their homeland and brought into bondage around the world, and long to go back to their rightful home, and the plea that they’re making to the world and the united nation to hear, and understand their plight. They are seeking equal rights and justice. I heard their ancestors crying for freedom. They still feel disenfranchise and feel like Jamaica is not their home.

So many people from Jamaica and other lands whose fore parents were taken from Africa have returned. Is delusional to think that the government or anyone else is going to send them back freely. They are free to return if they really want to. I know many people who have returned to many parts of Africa, I don't understand what's stopping these Rastas. They could be over there doing great things to help build up Ethiopia, instead they are in Jamaica complaining. They need to just go, go by ship if they don't want to take a plane but it will never happen if they're just sitting and waiting on officials to send them home.

That’s how I ovastood the reasoning cause I’m a American Citizen however I know my Ancestry so even though I took myself out the context I ovastood the reasoning on wanting to be fully free to go back home with no migrations. Raspect

Agreed. I watched this and I felt as if Chris Must List was almost taking it personally that these men were identifying with Africa. I got the vibe that it bothered him that they could see somewhere other than Jamaica as their home. The vibe was very European American I never really cared to know or think about this. Other than that It made me proud to be black.
Chris must list. I thank you for this video and bringing it to the world. Thank you.

Wow! Very interesting. I learned something new today. Thanks for sharing Chris.
Chris let me teach you something There are three distinct orders of the Rastafari movement which hold different beliefs and symbols. These are: Bobo Ashanti (Bobo Shanti), Nyahbinji and the Twelve tribes. That’s why the Rastafari community is a bit confusing and contradicting and each community have different beliefs 👍

He is a knowledgable person. His intelligence points him to ask the relevant questions. He is not doing it just to edify himself but in order for others who are abroad or even living there in Jamaica,& didn’t know of these places or even been there could have that vision. I applaud him for that. There are places he has been to that I would like to go to & May never have the opportunity. Thank you Chris Must List. Well done & very much appreciated. I have learnt a lot by following on by videos when I could. Enjoyed your tenacity.
