Funny story. I was at a sneaker store and the owner and myself were looking at the magazine “sole” which was a special issue about the Yeezy with Nike. In the background was a picture of one Tiffany. It’s cool to be a part of Nike and to be able to tell you that you for sure had a influence on working in the company and having the role I have there now.

Lacing structure is divided in the second version, it gives you more dynamic fit in the midfoot, maybe it is one of the reasons the midfoot is little bit loose (more plug& play) than the first version who adapts to your foot after some use. great to see you back

I loved the 1 and found it incredibly comfortable. Best shoe I’d tried at the time. Had the laced version, but I took the laces out and wore them laceless. Got 2 pairs of laceless 2s and both of them gave me real pains around my Achilles - seems to be from the heel counter liner being a bit sharp/stiff at the top edge. They’re all the same size, but the new heel counter didn’t seem to fit as well for whatever reason. Ended up also getting a laced version of the 2 which fitted perfectly without the laces. No idea why that was the case, maybe the 2 laceless ones were just bad pairs...

probably too late... it would depend on her running style, if she has one then she will want to stick with what works for her. for a great all around running shoe, the Nike Pegasus 36 is great, also has some cool patterns (flowers n such).

In your opinion, does it even matter if they don’t cover the foam on the bottom with rubber? With some old Free Runs, I found the traction to be pretty decent, and it lasted a long time.

nope, this foam is quite durable. I think the traction of react foam isnt as great as rubber or other outsole materials but that is really the only draw back. your saving some weight not having all that rubber on the bottom.

What kind of shoes are those on the left? They look like the air mags.
