There were 4 ex-Miss World 2016 candidates again joining respectively for Miss Universe 2016 and they were Philippines, Denmark, Sweden and Ecuador. Ecuador if I read correctly did some modeling stints in the Philippines and had her ensembles done by a local couturier so we can relate with. And, just for trivia there were others as well serviced by Filipino designers to make their gowns such as Canada, Nicaragua, Nepal, Mauritius to name a few. Denmark on the other hand was that lady mostly always by Catriona's side during pictorials so they must have been BFF during the pageant events so no wonder she'd cry a sincere tear of joy upon Cat's crowning moment. Regardless, Catriona was well liked and popular with her peers and no opposition or animosity was accorded her unlike during Pia's time.

By the way the two who were not happy about the result, it shows no respect n appreciattion of the gown worn by C.G. Her gown worn is not just a gown but has its meaning. Think first n be smart b4 you judge. Filipino designers r making up to be the best of the best in your new generation...unique but elligant.

I agree. I think they are misunderstanding the comments of the hosts being technical in terms with color and strategy, sparkles or not what of the gowns for the entire pageant and how different Ms Philippines is but nothing negative about it at all.

I've read most of the previous comments here and i cant help but laugh how funny it is with their truthful remarks with Carson and Lu. I do agree I sense that they r not in favor of Catriona during the competition. Even in another video Lu Sierra did not mention the positive performance of Catriona in the swimsuit round. Saying she has a lot of good walkers as if downplaying the hype of Miss Philipines. But I also sense they r not in favor of Catriona. People's instinct is mostly right

This is an unpopular idea, but I actually like that they practically ignored Catriona for most of the night. With 2 Pinay judges in the panel and Cat's eventual win, having both Carson and Lu on our side would only amplify those false rumors that this year's competition was rigged. By the way, Carson liked Rachel last year, so at least there's that.

My wife is a doctor and she notice it first.

I am not crazy about Miss Universe contest,however these 2 commentators dislike Miss Philippines and it doesn't even take a mental heavyweight to figure it out and we are not born yesterday.I hope next contest,they hire somebody else.

Those two hosts were actually rooting for Ms. Philippines, they were just mixing it up to make the broadcast audience feel the drama effect of the live event. It will be extremely one-sided in favor of Ms. Philippines if all of them hosts will show obvious partiality, and it would be too damn thing to watch it from the perspective of other spectators not rooting for Philippines. Just my thoughts.
