In a short period of time this weapon has gone to the top of my shitlist in team objective, mostly because I often find myself trying to kill one of its users in 1vX and wish my teammates would stop feeding them counters for free active parry. It also seems like every other vanguard uses the damn thing.

Yeah, it's not hard to beat in small settings but teammates who love to spam slash make you almost invincible if you know what you're doing with it. I've had 9 of the enemy team all spamming me, thinking I would be dispatched quickly. I dodged into a corner and they watched in horror as I slowly killed them all lol.

They should make a Dragonslayer highlander sword skin. I have no idea how they would get away with that, but it would be neat.

The best part about this weapon is how people constantly underestimate its length. I get so many hits just because people think they're clear.

There needs to be a mod that replaces every hit sound of the highlander with the Taco Bell sound.

When I equip this weapon I turn on the Berserk OST and play Forces on repeat until the end of the match.

I quickly learned that the highlander was a noobcatcher of some sorts as people that havnt grasped the combat fully seem to have real difficulties fighting against it

I've literally been lvling Vanguard just so I can get this weapon. Still new to the game but am always a fan of big weapons that feel like I can crack a whole into a brick wall.

The thought of a mere pig shit shovelling farmer running up and killing crowds of men clad in armour with a fucking 2 metre sword is killing me 😭😭😭😭😭

Honestly, I used to just hate using the Highland Sword when I first unlocked it. When I saw this video, it made it look fun to use, so I gave it a shot again. Still learning how to use it properly, but it's honestly pretty good.

Love the highland sword, I don't think it needs nerfs!

The amount of times I've been beheaded by this thing from someone fighting someone else outside of my FOV is pretty nuts. It's not overpowered, though, if you just pay attention to the user, they usually aren't that hard to counter.

Yes, situational awareness against it is huge. Should definitely recognize the sounds it makes and be ready to reposition. I get so many free kills by countering or riposting an enemy and then heavy overheading their teammate next to them.

Slower weapons are harder to use, but when you master one you will become much better at the game. I'd definitely pick one and give it a go for some hours to up your skills. You can watch Ziggy's past streams to see how he plays it in different situations, he's one of the best at this game.

How are you able to hit people so reliably? I try feints, counters, overheads, drags, but they block everything.
