My son often reads me statistics on the amazing things your generation and the youth right behind you are accomplishing. This video was like "Pow!" I love earthships! I call them spaceships cos they are so self contained and you don't need to be connected to the outside world. Communal living is becoming huge in New Zealand

This is really wholesome, how you speak about your friends shows how much you care for them.

You are all such talented individuals! Your work, along with your partner's work, is so amazing and inspirational. I've been dreaming for a few years of studying botany in college and going into a carrier in landscape architecture and sustainability. I've also been thinking about joining the peace core when I get out of college. I love the idea of meeting new cultures and helping out different communities. On a side note, your friend, Joey, reminds me of what my dad used to do when he was younger. My father was a tour guide who led groups of people on van tours across the United States. Much like Joey, he traveled many places and was able to meet and learn about different cultures. I remember him telling me stories about filming an Indian Prince's ski trip in Vail, Colorado, and horseback riding with a Native American Tribe across the hot Arazonian Plaines. I find it interesting to hear about people's travel stories and the different lessons they took away from their travels. I'm excited to see the content you produce in the future and the adventures you embark on. I wish you all the best this year and hope that your talent and skill on this channel gets the attention it deserves.

When you did the video with the delightful John re his bonsai collection, he called you “Sander”. I tried to convince myself that he’d said Summer, but watching over several times, it was definitely “Sander”. I’m old, like John, and call people I know by the names of other people I know, so I can relate to him - he must have also met Sander... I found your channels via the super interesting (and super informative!) video on shiitake mushrooms, and have subscribed to them all. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and time.

So true! I could be his grandmother. Exactly when DID we become afraid and settled? I’m trying to figure THAT out! I’m 75 now and think back on things I didn’t I didn’t do! I STILL say “my Dad never bought me a horse!” Really? What about the 55 years I have NOT lived with my Dad! I didn’t buy MYSELF one EITHER! What’s with THAT??? 🥴

Im really happy for you, especially coming from a big city. It it will have to be very regimented to make it work at first, lots of dishes at the sink. Back to work, finishing my underground UV room. It looks sick, so excited, yum high protein pasta lunch is over. Just putting in the stand now, done by nightfall.

I was not sure about the other two members of your team, but this explains the diversity very well. As they have creative thinking and many skills, the three of you will make this a wonderful project. I think you will probably take on projects you have not even thought of yet as you are just starting. All three of you are incredibly talented and so this will be a great inspiration to the rest of us as we watch you go where the rest of have not gone but will enjoy travelling with you and help us to think of our own projects to try out. Now it also explains why your videos have always looked excellent.

Omg, Summer, You bring soo much to my life with those videos and sharing Your thoughts and personality! Words can't even describe. Your friends are such amazing individuals and their work is really impressive. Myself, I'm a loner, and making connections is a tough thing for me, but I felt inspired to reach out to some people and to start building a community here. My partner, my son, and I have just moved into our first countryside attic apartment. There are a forest and some land, and this spring we will be attempting to start designing our small permaculture garden. So it's really the best time possible to start making some connections, and looking for some deeper relationships. I've been feeling very alienated for the last couple of years, struggling to find like-minded people, and feeling weighed down by some resistance and negativity from the locals. I realized, that if I want to be understood I need to reach out and come out of my shell more. Thank You, Summer for all that You do! I'm looking forward to seeing what the future brings for all of You. Take care!

Hey Nick, well once we're better set up here, we do view this as an eventual place where creatives can come together and collaborate on important projects together. Not sure how we'll have it set up down the line, but that is one of the visions here. In the meantime, I hope more folks who think like you gravitate to your orbit - Summer Rayne
