This is why I'm so against ppl protesting to do away with all kinds of history. While in grade school, there was a lot we never learned about. I didn't learn about slavery nor about the Holocaust (nor did I learn about the Viet Nam War, other than there was a war going on at the time) until I was in my late 20''s. The only reason I learned these things happened was because of television series on these topics. I was sheltered in my community growing up (children were to be only seen & not heard...much less ask grown-up questions)...I thought all ppl of color and jews were wealthy ppl. I suppose bc as I worked in the early 70's I worked with well to do ppl of color and jews. I got along very well with them and they embraced me (as they thought I was very naive & embracedme)...I was never taught to treat anyone badly or indifferently, I was taught to treat ppl the way I wanted to be treated...this is the way I also raised my children...we are all equals and loved by our one true God, bc we are all his children. Today I have very, very many friendships from different ethnic groups, I respect their beliefs as they respect mine.👍❤ This world 🌐is big enough for AWHOLE LOT OF LOVE ❤ EMBRACE ONE ANOTHER...GO OUT AND LEARN SOMETHING NEW...LIVE ONE ANOTHER...LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED❤👍🌏🌎🌍
