You can forget your Fifty Shades of Grey, who cares about painting the town red, and there are certainly no Blue Mondays in The Green Lady of Brooklyn’s life. Everything in Elizabeth Sweetheart's life is green. From her bright green hair and fingernails, to her self-dyed green overalls, she has definitely earned the nickname New York locals gave her. She joins us this morning to make us green with envy - live from the USA, in her green-filled home to explain how the three-decade-long obsession started, why it keeps her young and what her ‘non-green’ husband Robert makes of it all.

I saw this lady more than five years ago and she is a reminder of the ladies on Advanced Style…….they are older ladies who know how to dress…without restrictions…they follow their hearts and never worry what people think…we can all learn to be who we are….not what people want us to be.
I wonder if she's a fan of that Brian Eno song "another Green world"?.. What a fun and vibrant (green ) home.
