Some lads seem to think sonik is a cheap brand when in reality they do some of the best rods in the game. The sk4 is legendary now

95% of my gear WAS Sonik before I sold all my gear, Sonik was my go to brand for all my gear. Customer service 2nd to none.

I agree, SONIK do fantastic rods, but their reels really are dogshit!

Nice little session there Joe & a catfish to boot. Oh yeah the rods & reels look good for the money.

I have been using sk4 3 .25lb since they first came out they are a brilliant rod.

Any chance you were given the matching spod rod to try as well. I have the Vader x rs rods and spod rod but would like something a bit more up to the job and was hoping these were the tool to go for but for me would depend on the ability of the spod rod for me.

Love my 10ft 3.25tc corkhandle insurgent rods matched with the fox 10000xcs

I’ve known people who have the sonik reels and there great when there new but don’t seem to last long term, rods are good I’ve put mine over 200 yards and they seem to stand up to it they just get abit soft after a while

The lake is called shearwater and is in Wiltshire. It is a day ticket on the go catch app 👍

why are the rods in the water ...........just sold my vader x 3 x 12ft 3,5tc rods and 3 matching reels ,now got 3 10ft 3.5tc extractors and 3 matching reels ...seeing these i might go back to 12ft rods or just have them as another set ....................massive sonik fan .............nearly bought Delkim alarms but got Gizmo 2 instead

Let’s hope their quality service checks are better on these rods! I had 3 lots of Soniks Vader rs rods- from 2 different shops- that All had numerous bad scratches and marks all over them and was told they were straight outta the cloth bags that came straight from the factory as well as ones I eventually was happy with I later found one of the line clips was completely stuck to the rod! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Hello, if anyone know: wich SONIK MODEL rod is slimest: sk47 or gravity XFW??? P.s i have "SKS BLACK" rods and i woud like to buy new slim rods like my rods, or slimer then mine. So wich model is slimest? Advice me plz. Thanks

The swim I was in was very shallow for quite a way out then dropped to where my rods were. Didn't want to drag fish over shallow water if I didn't need to

Never a great idea to have reels so close to the water! Rains ok but get water inside and unless you like getting them serviced they will soon start to let you know 😂

Give it a month or 2 and they will be half the rrp like all there other products

I guess because they are cheap a lot of beginners start on them and they either give up because its not for them or they upgrade to something better. I've seen many people use the sonik rods and when I've asked to use them they feel decent. The reels on the other hand are shocking, stay away from those!

Love sonik gear but theu should just give up making reels ! Why they so loud !?

Them sonik reels sound like a bag of spanner 😂 the sonik rods are ok but sonik have never obtained a decent Chinese reel company to make them reels yet.

Soniks reputation in the reel industry can not be saved. They've been so bad in the past.

Got the GS 5000s for my dwarfs what utter rubbish,sonik are a decent brand but the GS 5000s are terribly built.

Sonik are great maybe the cheaper brand out there but as good as Nash and fox I've got the sonik extractor 10fts and the extractor reels the reels have the quick release arm and they are fantastic fox,Nash,lots of money gear don't catch fish then angler does it's simple really
