Lily Jamerson I saw your video, but you need to keep more than one rat. Rats are very social and can’t be kept alone. They can fall into depression, become anxious or stressed and that’s not what you want right? Please get another rat.

@@keylia000 That is a very true fact about rats. They do get stimulation from an owner but you can't keep a rats emotional health 100% without a cage mate to give it full 24/7 emotional happiness. Rats truly need bonding from other rats, great comment I hope they respectfully take yours and my advice. To get at least one or even two bonded rats to go along with their single rat the commenter had.

I somehow hit the jackpot twelve years ago when I got my first rat, Splinter, from Petco of all places. There were all these babies on display and Splinter was the only adult. I knew no one would want him over a cute little baby, so I took him home. He ended up being the most fearless, social, affectionate, silly boy ever! And so smart! Ugh, I miss him!

I have a spayed female named Violet that we call Violent during intros....cause she is kinda of a jerk. I love her to death and she always comes around and makes frens in the end

I got my first rats exactly two weeks ago and they've settled in so well, they both like sleeping on my shoulder while watching videos (strange girls, they're 10 weeks old) and they're watching this with me lol. Aw, they are the sweetest boys, such beauties! I'm in love with Humbug and his beautiful markings. When I read his name, the first thing that came to my mind was Ebenezer Scrooge's "Bah! Humbug!" Handwrestling is so much fun, but my boys have all grown out of it.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate Emi calling Grumpy Grandpa Moose an A-hole. Hahahaha~ We love our fuzzy children so much and notice their personality differences so we all know the sod of the group. I'm looking at you my son, Gizmo. I have a lovely Dumbo group of three rats and one girl is so special in how she behaves, that my friend began to call her Gollum from lord of the rings instead of her name Flecky and now she also reacts to this name and makes this pose that gave her this nickname xD. He apologized for it but it's very funny

I have 17 rats they are awesome

My rat breeder believes in not interacting with the babies so mine were basically as wild as pet shop rats when we got them. They're my first rats, you can imagine what a struggle that was.... They wouldn't settle in, hated touch and did not bond at all until months later.

Oh their names are perfect :-)
